Life 5: 'CRESCENT MOON BLADE'

The elder seemingly happy after seeing their respect quickly said, "It's alright you can all stand up now youngsters, be at ease I'm not gonna eat you."

"Now follow me to the inner sanctuary it's about time to finish your classes selections and ranks within the academy."

Hearing that they were to go to the inner sanctuary they all wondered why go to the hall then when they could've just gone to the sanctuary instead, but no one said anything out of respect and fear of the old man as they headed off to the sanctuary following the old man quietly.

After they got to the sanctuary they saw a pentagram on the ground that had a teleport rune on it seemingly for them to go somewhere else within the sect. The pentagram seemed big enough to hold all a hundred of them as they got onto the magic circle.

And when everyone got on the pentagram a blue light flashed as they quickly closed their eyes as to not hurt their their eyes proficiency in vision. A second later they all felt as if their bodies had gotten a quick pat on the back as they

felt fine as the blue light vanished.

And after this teleportation Xealius felt quite sick as he couldn't handle his body being turned into light particles before being thrown into another location. It seems it wasn't just him but everyone else as they couldn't stand properly.

Seeing this the elder said, "Umm it seems your not feeling well- though I guess it's because it's your first time on a teleportation rune don't worry I'll heal you up quickly, Mana Mana please let them heal do we have a deal!"

After he said that our bodies sparkled with light as suddenly we all felt better as we got up from the ground, it felt magical.

"Now that, that's out of the way Welcome to the academy everyone." The elder spread his hands wide as to signify this a special day for them.

The area that they were in was a Mountain Range, one with countless plants and animals at every corner, as the bright blue sky shined down upon this gorgeous mountain range.

"Now then it should be 100 of you here, and you will all take an exam of sorts to determine what rank and what class you'll be joining, there are 4 Classes within the academy and they go from S to C with S being the highest and C being the lowest. And the exam results will determine which class you enter so good luck kids."

"The test will be divided in three sections, the Somatic section, the Cognitive section and the Magus section. With Somatic being about your physical strength, Cognitive being about your mind and mental strength and Magus being about your magic."

After that the elder walked over to us as he said, "Get in line immediately and stay in that line."

After that we each got into a line as in front of us was a massive punching machine seemingly testing our Somatic section, "Everyone listen clearly you are prohibited from using any Mana within this test, it's only about your bodies physical strength not your Magus strength that will be for later, also if you cheat you get kicked out of the sect immediately."

"Everyone, when it is their turn will come forward and use all their strength to punch this machine in order to test what level your body is and whether your suited for body strengthening magic or not, so remember kids don't hold back like an idiot show your true strength to get a higher rank and more resources."

After he stopped talking the first person in the line went up to the machine as he shouted out, "DYNAMITE PUNCH!!"

It seems he truly gave it his all, as soon a number came out from the bottom saying, [You've achieved a Battle Power of 50.]

Even though it looked weak no one said anything as we didn't even know what 1 meant so 50 could be ridiculously strong for all we know.

And soon after one after another, most people gained 30-40 Battle Power however the ones with a bloodline would usually get about 50-70, and it was obvious to see who had bloodlines as they had features not found on ordinary people.

For example just now a beastmen got 70 on his combat power blowing the non bloodline people out of the park who at most got 40 whereas the bloodlines got consistent over 50-70's.

Finally it was my time as with a small wave I flicked my arm at the machine causing dust and mist to appear as I got [200 Battle Power] the strongest out of everyone even the bloodliners, everyone looked on in awe as they thought I too possessed a bloodline but they didn't know what it was as they speculated it to be the Dokkaebi bloodline as I looked human and had immense strength rivalling and beating the beastmen.

After the first exam was over I was looked up on as if a monster or someone abnormal, as the next machine was brought out, it was a Magic testing machine similar to the strength machine you launch some magic at the machine so it can process what rank in cultivation your on.

The first person who was on used his seemingly full power magic attack as he screamed, "TYRANTS CRIMSON FLAME!" And it landed bullseye on the machine earning him 100 Battle Power meaning he was a 1-Star Bronze Rank.

Slightly above average as it seems the non bloodliners seemed to have better Mana control than the bloodliners who were more suited for body strengthening magic.

And in the last round a lot of bloodliners did well though this time it went down by half as the others did poorly on this test. Some bloodliners even asked if they could just amp their body with Mana and simply fist it, though it seems it wasn't allowed as the elder vehemently opposed the Idea.

Soon it was my turn as I condensed my mana before chucking it at the machine as my condensed mana was of the wind attribute it was green in colour and it was two crescent moon slashes heading towards the machine and I called it the, "CRESCENT MOON BLADE!!"

And it impacted so deep that it caused a huge dust storm to form as once again my score was the highest with 200 being my Magic Power meaning I was a 2-Star Bronze Rank and none were on my level.

Everyone around me gulped in awe at my incredible strength as the elder nodded, 'It seems this year there are truly monsters lurking behind flesh.'
