Episode 7
Finally a normal day! No monsters, no out of the blue lights or sounds. I can just relax a little. School is almost over, so I decide to use the last few minutes of class to finish up some homework.
"RING!"
Finally! I start walking home and nothing! Nothings happening! For some reason this seems off. It's not right.
I get home to my mom making dinner. Mmmm steak and mashed potatoes! I sit down, eat, go upstairs and go to bed. But, I don't know. Something just seems off about the whole thing.
Once again I wake up and go to school! I can't figure it out! Mr. Hurricane must be messing with us!
My first class of the day is science. Daniel isn't here for some reason. Which isn't like him. He loves science class!
Just as I think this Echo walks in!
"I need everyone to calmly evacuate the building!"
"What the hell is going on?!" I think "if something was happening I would've known about it right?!"
I run to the bathroom.
"TRANSFORM!"
I run up to Echo ask "Echo what's going on!?!"
"There was a monster in the park!" He says
"Well then why the hell are you here?! The park is miles away from the school!"
Now I'm suspicious. This isn't like Echo. He wouldn't evacuate a building miles away from the scene.
"Echo can we talk for a minute?" I say I needed to know if this was the real Echo or not. I wouldn't put it past Mr. Hurricane to create a monster that can impersonate someone.
"Everybody go back into your classrooms! You're fine now. We have the situation under control."
"Wha- what are you doing?!" "Echo" says
"Well if the monster is miles away than the students are fine here. We need to talk come on!"
We jump up to a rooftop. I know what I have to do. I start walking towards Echo trying to be relaxed. Our faces are almost touching.
"So Echo I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget about our conversation from last night. You didn't did you?" I whisper
"Oh uhh- n- no I didn't forget at all."
"Oh really?" I stare into his eyes.
"Nope not word." He says
"Really because if I remember correctly, I haven't seen you in a week! What have you done with the real Echo?!" I yell.
"Wha- What do you mean?! I am the real Echo!" He yells
"Echo wouldn't lie about a conversation we didn't have!" I used my vines and tied him up.
"Now tell me where the real Echo is!"
"Fine fine you found me out! But I'm not going to tell you where the real Echo is!" He says snickering
"Oh really? Well than every minute you don't talk these vines will get tighter and tighter until your head explodes! Unless you want that, tell me where he is!"
"Fine! He's at the warehouse on the corner of Mango and Aqua."
"Alright, but I'm keeping you with me just in case you're lying!"
We reach the warehouse.
"Echo?!" I yell.
"Echo?!?"
"Sapphire?!"
I see him tied to a chair in the corner.
"Echo! Are you alright?!" I say as I'm untying him.
"What happened?! How long have you been here?! Ugh! I knew something was up!"
"That monster grabbed me, brought me here and tied me up!" Echo says.
"Are you strong enough to fight or do I need to get you out of here?" I ask
"Oh hell yeah I'm stronger than ever!" He says
"Okay if you say so!"
He tried running away but we caught up to the monster and after a good fight he was done for!

*A little while later*
"Hey Echo?"
"Yeah Sapphire?"
"How long were you in there for?"
"Oh uh not to long.."
"Okay but like time wise?"
"A- A day." Echo says hesitantly
"A Day?! You were in there for a whole day?!" I say
"Yeah but I'm alright aren't I?"
"You're alright now! But I just knew, I knew something was wrong! But I didn't do anything about it! Ugh! I can't believe I did that I'm so stupid!"
"Hey, you are not stupid. You are the smartest person I've ever met. And it's not you're fault. Even if you had known what would you have done? You wouldn't have known where I was or how to find me. The only thing that matters is you did!" He says
"Yeah I guess you're right."
I laid my head on his shoulder and we sat there together for another 3 hours. It was really nice. I think I'm falling for Echo. Crap! I'm falling for Echo!
