Episode 3

I still can't stop thinking about Sapphire. Her eyes are the most beautiful blue I've ever seen. She's so amazing. If only I knew who she was.

After yesterday's fight, I don't know what to think. I fell off the building, my flying powers didn't work, and Echo saved me! I have to speak with that figure in the Cave of Crystals. Why did they fail? Did I do something wrong?!

The thing is, I don't know how to get back there!

"Uum Cave of Crystals!" I say, but nothing. "Okaay, how about Sapphire!!" Still nothing. "Let's try "The Powers of the Sapphire!!" And BAM! I did it! I'm in the Cave of Crystals!"

"Hello, Sapphire." The figure says "How can I aid you?"

"Well, Echo and I were in a fight yesterday, and I fell of the ledge but, when I tried to fly I couldn't!"

"Oh, Sapphire. The first time you could fly was just an effect of your powers adjusting to your body. You can't actually fly. But, you can use you vines to transport you to where you need to go. For now goodbye, Sapphire."

WOOSH

I'm back in my bedroom once again. "I can't fly! Oh no! That means Echo can't fly either! I have to warn him before he tries!"

"Heeyy Sapphire, what was so urgent at this time of night? Or did you just want to see me?"

"Oh keep it in your pants. I came to tell you that we can't fly like we did before."

"What! What do mean?!"

"I mean I asked my guardian why is it when I fell off that ledge could I not fly up. And she said I could only fly the first time because my powers were just adjusting to my body! But we can't do it again."

"Well that's a doosey. Looks like we'll have to figure it out, without flying." Said Echo

"Yeah that's what I'm worried about."

"Oh don't worry! I'm here for you! I saved you last time didn't I? I'll protect you."

"Oh don't get so cocky. We'll protect each other. Got it?"

"Yes, your majesty."

"Don't call me your majesty."

"Fine."

"Alright now that we got that straightened out, I got to go. Homework ya know?" As those words came out of my mouth, I could feel my heart stop.

"Homework?" Says Echo "If you have to do homework that means you're a student! Which means we could go to the same school! HA!" He says triumphantly.

"Well if "we go to the same school" as you say that means you're a student too!"

"Don't get your hopes up. Bye Echo."

"Leaving already?! Don't you want to stay here with me?!"

"I have to go! Goodbye!"

"Goodbye Sapphire." Echo says.

"It almost sounded like he was sad." I think to my self as I use my vines to carry me back home.
