Visiting the Capital (Central)

"It's the weekend! Let's do something fun !!!"

It was 6 AM in the morning when Evan started to knock on the doors of Edward and Sun.

While still in his pants and half-naked, he started to forcefully brush his teeth.

"Dude! Give me a rest! It's 6 AM!", Sun shouted back, but he eventually started to get up.

While walking the bathroom, Sun knocked on Edwards door to check up on him, but there was no answer, so he decided to knock after brushing his teeth.

There was a wild animal inside the bathroom, called Evan. Sun noticed blood in the sink and asked him what happened.

"I brush until there's blood, so I know for sure that my teeth are clean. HAHAHA!", Evan answered with foam in his mouth.

"And here I thought Espers were more intelligent than humans...", Sun sighted and shook his head.

After a few minutes, both finished their morning routine and when to get Edward.

"Ey! WAKE UP GAYLORD!", Evan forcefully cracked the door to Edwards room open.

There was no one inside, but a sleepy voice came from above. Edward was again, for whatever reason, hanging from the ceiling.

"Shut it!", he said, but then, a smirk formed. All three started to laugh.

These days, the three have been doing everything together and thus came to be very good friends.

On the way to the portal, they've met Rubert, Kurt, Elisabeth, Rena, and Veronica.

They were also heading for the Central, but Elisabeth and Kurt were for their family.

"Yo!! You guys are up early!!", Veronica saw the three from afar and started to wave her arm.

"Good morning.", Elisabeth kept it short and Rena just nodded and went on to space out.

"Morning guys!", Sun said.

"You guys are visiting the Central?", Kurt asked.

"Yeah, you too?"

"Yup, I never left when I was in the clan, so this is my first time outside. I'm excited to see after I heard some stories from my father."

"Oh, right. You are from the Thunder Clan."

"Yes, and I believe you're human? "

"Indeed. I'm one of the 100 families from 10 years ago."

"I guess he's a case of a 'country bumpkin' ", Sun laughed wryly in his mind.

"Well, what about you Evan and Edward?", Sun asked them since he's going to visit the barrier station when they arrive in the capital.

"I'm going to replenish my materials. I come to the Central often, due to family matters, so no need to worry about me.", Edward while tweaking his hair.

"I'm going to the fighting arena. To let some air out.", Evan said.

"Oh, right. I forgot about Evan. He's someone I don't need to worry about."

"Okay, so we'll meet at the portal gate in 10 hours."

"Okay.", both answered.

"Good moring kids. I'm Kurt's dad, pleased to meet you.", a very kind looking man stepped forward.

"Yo, dad. Can you show us the core?", Kurt asked.

"Hoho. It's a national secret. How can I show you? Even though I developed it, I can't - unless you work here after graduation."

"Alright. Follow me.", the man waved his arm into his direction.

The Barrier Administration is located in downtown and visited by many people and about 5000 are employed here. Kurt's father is chief of the Core team. He may look like an average kind man, but he's a genius regarding writing the spells for the core. He came up with the genius algorithm for the Core and is highly regarded by the president.

The president is elected every ten years by a handful of noble families. The candidates for the parliament are also only nobles, but the normal citizen can still elect, which noble will become a sitting member.

The engine room was very loud and many people were running around to switch an orb or to touch a switch.

"So, here's the engine room. It is very loud here, so I'll use telepathy!", Kurt's father raised his voice.

After a bit of walking and talking, they left the Barrier Administration Center (BAC for future reference).

"Well, I go and visit my mother and sister.", Kurt said and took the next bus.

"Good. I'll talk to you guys later!"

"So... what are you going to do?", Rubert asked Sun.

"Hmm... I'll be visiting an old friend of mine - so sry, but I need to leave you alone."

"Oh, it's alright. I'll be seeing you around.", Rubert said but was disappointed inside.

"I'll catch up with you later!", Sun said and walked off.

The streets are full of vitality, the crowd of Espers is really dense and Sun felt a bit lost in the big city.

Skyscrapers are all around him, giving him a suppressing feeling.

"Ok. Warfare Shop. I got it.", Sun said to himself and started to walk while looking at the address inside his head.

*bump*

"Ouch", a very shy voice resounded.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was spacing out.", Sun apologized while offering the person his hand for help.

The person took his hand and Sun pulled her up.

After they stood there, staring at each other, Sun noticed, that she looked familiar.

"Wait. Aren't you Rena Sheher...- Aren't you Rena?"
