161 The Seraphim's Flashback

The Almighty Seraphim sighed as she stared out her window one peaceful night. She watched the stars twinkle as some of them fell on earth, making her smile as she remembered how humans make a wish whenever they see a shooting star. 

Heraleen leaned in closer, her arms on the windowsill supporting her weight, and her head leaning on the window frame. She sighed once more as she thought of her three sons, Devin, Levin, and Nevin. 

Nevin had been long gone. It had been a hundred years, however, Heraleen could still remember his death as if it was just yesterday. 

Her eyebrows furrowed as her heart ached. She slightly tightened her fists, trying her best to shake herself from her own thoughts. 

In order to stop herself from dwelling in a painful memory, she remembered her sons and their good traits as well, making her smile.
