"Are you sure you don't want to go to class," the immortal who stood as her uncle asked, making Angeal shake her head.

"No," she answered as she looked at Devin who now seemed weaker. "I can't go... knowing that he's like this because of me," she added then she held his hand again, feeling worried.

Knowing how headstrong Angeal is with her decisions, Edwin just sighed as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Fine. As long as you can cope up with your classes and you explain it to your grandpa, he will understand," the immortal just said then he walked out of the room, closing the door.
