Chapter Two

The van finally stopped and I heard footsteps outside the car, I looked around looking for something I could use to defend myself when they grab me or tried to kill me but the back of the van was completely empty like they knew I was gonna try something. The door to the van opened and a Man with brown hair, brown eyes, Was very tall, and had muscles, threw some rags at me "Put these on and knock three times on the door when you're done." he said as he closed the door. The rags they gave me were ripped but were still wearable. So they're not gonna kill me? I thought to myself, as I put on the brown ripped shirt and ripped pants. I knocked on the door three times just like I was told and the door opened revealing the man who gave me my clothes and a couple other guards next to him. "Come with us." The man said, I got out the car and the 2 guards stood on either side of me and the Man walked in front. "Um where are you taking me?" I asked, none of them answered my question. So I decided to look at my surroundings, there were rocky cliffs, trees, bushes, small streams with fish, and there were some cabins up ahead. "Are you taking me to those cabins?" I asked, still no answer.

"Just Shut up and don't try anything you'll regret, you'll be dead before you can even start running Irregular." The Man said with annoyance in his tone. I looked down at the ground, silent. I have to get out of here! I shouted in my head. But where would I go, even if I do get away I don't know how to get back to the city. We're outside the city now, outside the border, It's dangerous. "All right listen up Irregulars!" I looked up to see another Man who looked way scarier and more serious then the one in front of me. "Do you know why you're all here?" he asked. I looked around and noticed other people were around me now, looking scared and confused. They all shook their heads no "You're here because we need you!" he replied. Everyone started whispering back and forth "Why do you need us?" A boy in the crowd asked. "To lure some enemies of ours, some of you may die!" from that comment everyone looked even more terrified. "So be ready to die, anyways basically our enemies attack large groups of people and Irregulars have high skills, so most of you will probably live." he added. "We'll divide you into groups." The guards in the crowd gathered people in groups of four.

After everyone was divided they put us into cabins, I was put into a group with 2 boys and 1 girl. It was dead silent, "So…..what's your names? I'm Mike by the way." the boy who asked the question earlier said. "Josh." I replied. "Keith." a boy with raven hair said. "Nora." a girl with brown long hair and a pretty face that made me blush said. "Nice to meet some fellow Irregulars!" Mike shouted. "Wish I could say the same, but I'm getting out of here." Keith said with a serious expression. "Well dang, sorry just thought since we're a GROUP hint. hint. we could be friends." Mike replied. Me and the girl Nora exchanged looks, "Why don't we all calm down." I said. "How can we calm down when we're gonna be in our deathbeds soon!" Keith shouted. "I'm just saying!" I shouted back. "Shut up." Nora said. Me and Keith look at her and go silent. "Thank you." she said.

We were all in the lunchroom eating our almost complete sandwich, I was sitting next to Nora and Keith was sitting across from me with Mike sitting next to him,  when a kid walked up behind me. "So you're the punk who ripped off the robot's head!" I heard a voice shout. I turned around to see a boy, he had black hair, green eyes, and light skin. "Yeah and?" I replied. "There's a rumor going around." He said. "What rumor?" I replied. "That you cheated." he said. "How?" I asked. "I ripped off the robots head what more is there to it?" I added. He grabbed me by my shirt "You picking a fight with me punk!" He shouted. "Sure why not." I replied as I jerked myself away from him. The next thing I knew we were throwing punches, after about 20 minutes I felt someone hit me in the back of my head and saw Keith punch the boy in the face "Enough! He didn't cheat, so back off!" he shouted. "The only one who would have to cheat is you considering how bad you are at fighting." Mike added. Nora got up from her seat and smacked the boy across his face "So why don't you run along and go to your little pity corner and think about who the real cheater is." she said. "Who are you people?" the boy asked. "That's easy we're the Super 4!" Mike shouted proudly. "No way." Keith said. "You're kidding?" Nora asked. I just sat there and laughed Maybe being out here won't be so bad for now. I thought to myself. Keith smacked Mike in the back of the head "I'm not walking around here with a title like that got it." he said. "Yes sir!" Mike shouted as he saluted. When the boy walked away I walked up to my 3 defenders "Why'd you guys help me?" I asked. "Well we're a group, and a group sticks together." Nora said. "Yeah if someone messes with one of us they mess with all of us!" Mike added. "Yeah so…. um sorry about earlier Josh." Keith mumbled. I looked at him and smirked "What was that?" I asked. "I said I'm sorry Dang!" he shouted. The 3 of us laughed leaving Keith in a mood with his arms crossed.

It was night time now and all of us were in our cabins laid in our beds when we heard an explosion. "What the heck was that!?" Mike shouted as he hopped out of his bed towards the window with me, Keith, and Nora following behind. "Oh my god." Keith mumbled under his breath, "This is insane!" Nora shouted. I looked out the window and my heart skipped a beat. Outside of our cabin were I assume people though, I could hardly tell with the big armor they were wearing and the masks they had on. "Why?" I asked. Keith, Nora and Mike looked at me. "Why are they using us just so we can get killed by these guys!?" I shouted as I clenched my fists. Stay strong was what my mother said to me before I walked into that test room. But how can I stay strong knowing I'm gonna die? "Josh relax we have time." Keith said. "Yeah how much time exactly before we end up dead?" I asked. "Earlier you told me to calm down when I said we were gonna die, don't tell me you were just saying that!" He shouted as he slapped me in the face, making Nora stand in front of me protectively. "Look we're all scared, true some of us may say we aren't and don't look it, but deep down we all fear that we're gonna die but don't take it out on each other! None of us wanted to be born this way! To be here! So let's all calm down and talk it out like normal people!" she shouted.

"That's easier for some than others." Mike said glancing at me and Keith. He crossed his arms and I looked away from him. Then our cabin jolted to the side making all 4 of us fall to the floor with a thud. "Crap do they know we're in here!" Mike shouted. "Well if they didn't, they do now with you're shouting." Nora said sending him a glare. "Look we need to figure out something." I said trying to keep my cool. "He's right." Keith said, making me smirk. "Ok so we know we're pretty much under heavy fire right now and we don't really know for sure who these people are even if they are people but we-" but before I could finish my sentence the roof to our cabin flew off making pieces of wood and rubble hit us causing us to have scratches on our arms. My vision started to blur and my head felt dizzy, there was smoke in the air causing the 4 of us to cough then everything went black.
