Late Night Snack With J

A day later, Nora goes home from her shift but instead of going back to her apartment, she went to their house in the Twelve Army headquarters which surprised her mother. 

"Wow, I am starting to think that you are considering moving back in," J said when she saw Nora enter the kitchen with her bag on her shoulder. 

Nora pursed her lips and walked to her. She dropped her bag on the kitchen counter and hugged her mother in a tight embrace.  She smiled when she smelt her mother's hair. It smelled like a mixture of vanilla, rose, and spices. 

Vanilla and rose were the scents of her mother's favorite shampoo while the spices were probably from the dinner that she was making. Nora looked over her mother's shoulder and saw a whole chicken roasting inside the oven.

Nora chuckled while still hugging her mother. "Maybe just for the night," She said.
