Crushing on Elijah

The next morning, Nora was back at the hospital lacking some sleep because she and Nic stayed late under the old oak tree catching up, and then she had to wake up early to reach the city on time for her shift. She just hoped that her shift wouldn't be too busy so that she could take a nap.

But eight hours have already gone on her shift yet she hasn't gotten the nap that she was praying for. And she was sure to never get it in the next four hours because she was chosen to assist in one of the major surgeries that are scheduled in the next hour. 

To fight off her weariness, she dragged her friend Emma to the coffee shop located on the ground level of the hospital to grab herself maybe the strongest coffee they could offer.
