Prologue 6(End)

"What..is...happe... ning?" the vision of Gerald was wobbling as he felt extreme dizziness to the point he can't see clearly.

Sounds of consecutive explosions was heard as Gerald still can't see nor understand what's happening. He's lying near the shore of a pond with his clothes dirty.

Gerald lied down on the ground for a few seconds as he collected his thoughts to try and make up of what's happening on his surrounding.

"Is it the end of the world? I barely even live, I still have many ideas... Don't end yet!" murmured Gerald on his mind as smoke was clearly seen in front of Gerald. The sight and smell of smoke as if awaken something on Gerald.

He instantaneously regained his full consciousness as the pain on his body hit him like a ten wheeler truck that's racking a speed of more than 200 kilometers per hour.

"Ahhh!" Gerald suddenly sat up as pain assaulted his heas because of the instantaneous action.

He observed his burning surroundings. The peaceful pond before was now enshrouded with large amounts of smokes coming from the the large burning building supposedly the library near it. He tried to recall the memories that happened earlier before he lost his consciousness.

Gerald was shocked, he didn't know what to do or anything after remembering the events that transpired earlier. It's a hell on his position as he tried to stand up only to see his left leg missing.

"W-whaaaaaa!" Gerald shouted like a little girl as tears started to flow down his eyes as he searched for his missing leg, fully knowing it must've been blasted to smithereens because of that explosion earlier.

"Okay Gerald! Calm down! You can do this! Yes! You can do this! You're Gerald Sparrow! You're the only one of your kind! You're the best! Yes! I'm the best there ever was!" Gerald shouted as he tried to comfort his mind but it suddenly transitioned to him almost becoming mad as he started to laugh out loud.

Gerald was full aware of this as he slapped his face with intense force to wake it up. He then tore a par tof his shirt and tied his bleeding left leg stump, to prevent blood loss and facilitate blood clotting.

"No! I won't die here, I can't die here!" said Gerald as he steeled himself and looked for a branch or an object to use as a support so he can stand up.

Just then, his watch suddenly lit up. The holographic face of Zero came to life as she did a full body health examination to Gerald.

"Zero! You're here! Has villains really attacked the university?" asked Gerald as he looked at his watch and to the eyes of Zero directly.

"Yes master, there are 12 groups of villains fighting it out near the school pond, which is your current position. Zero theorizes that you're their target." said Zero truthfully as she showed the holographic reak time map of the school with red dots present,signifying the position of the villains.

"Furthermore, Madam Sparrow has organized the mercenary companies under the Sparrow Group to go and rescue you master. It's estimated they'll reach the school grounds in 5 minutes if everything goes well." added Zero as she transitioned the map to the real time video feed of the 25 black helicopters, each has the logo of the Sparrow Group and their own mercenary company.

The 25 helicopters was supported by 5 attack helicopters with rows of armored vehicles on the ground, thundering down the streets of New York with their destination that of the university.

"Finally, Invicta XX is online, all battle suits are ready to be deployed in a moments notice.. " the video transitioned to the storage room of the Invicta series suits as the glass shell before was now covered with thick metal as it's been armed with a rocket booster on the bottom of the shell.

"I-I can't fight, I'm not confident to fight... Zero, can yo-" the words of Gerald was hard said as he felt dizzy and his left leg throbbed in pain.

His words was cut off as alarms blared from the watch and the greenish holographic face of Zero on the watch changed to red, signifying danger to the user of the watch.

"Danger! Danger! Protocol Red initiated... Battle suits ready to launch... Invicta XX away... Invicta XIX away..." the words of Zero poured as the battle suits was launched one by one with the destination of the university.

"W-wai- Zer... o, c-cancel p-protoc-" Gerald finally lost his consciousness as he stumbled on his back which hit the soft grassy ground.

But he heard the last words of Zero clearly, it's the protocol he set for the direst of the situation

"Protocol Black, code name Warhead...Initiated..."

"Today at around 12 o'clock noon, a massive villain attack strucked one of the most prestigious university in New York. The damages was absolutely horrific. At least 500 dead with more than 2000 people from a combined student and faculty was missing. The damages amount to at least 250 million dollars, just in property damage. Moving on, a group of metal men was seen rescuing someone still trapped inside the campus. These men sported high tech weaponry as seen from the video caught by a netizen that will be played later.The identity of the one they rescued still isn't confirmed but our news source said he's the son of the Sparrow Group's sole owner and chairman. All in all, these metal men killed every villain that attacked the campus without mercy before the heroes can even reach the university." the news anchor said as a flash news was aired. He sports a black suit with a sleek hairstyle and a black necktie to represent mourning.

"The chairman of the global League of Heroes condemned the actions of the metal men and vowed to take them to justice for killing the villains. The White House still has no statement regarding the event that happened nor was the Sparrow Group about the allegations that the metal men was their new products. We'll be updating you about the developments of this event and in behalf of the whole BWC family, we would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the families of the affected." added the host as he fixed his necktie.

At a hospital, a handsome kid with thick black hair can be seen sleeping peacefully. He has tubes connected to his mouth to assist breathing and many more. This kid was Gerald, the Invicta series battle suits was piloted by Zero manually managed to evacuate his unconscious body before executing the Protocol Black.

The protocol was basically one of the last ditch efforts to rescue Gerald from all sorts of situations. This protocol would only be activated upon the time where Gerald is literally near death. The protocol will prioritize evacuating Gerald and eliminating all hostiles before escaping. By eliminate, it means kill everyone hostile using any means necessary.

A quick and easy way of operation. Because of this, he was immediately given emergency health care, preventing his death on the way to the hospital.

"Gerald please, please wake up! You know I can't lose you, right? You're the last one that I have left." Samantha was crying beside the bed of her son as she held Gerald's hands tightly.

Just then a twitch from the fingers of Gerald was felt as he slowly opened his eyes...
