The Slytherin Princess

??? POV

I couldn't believe it was my first day at Hogwarts. I could tell already it is gonna be the best year or years of my life. When I got my letter I almost didn't believe it, I was going to a magic school! I was so ready to leave my abusive family behind, even though I have had realistic dreams of a different family who look like me.

I should probably introduce myself, Hi I'm Lyra and as you know i just got accepted to Hogwarts. I have white/platinum blonde hair and grey/silver eyes, which is a rare eye color last time I checked. Also I was born a wizard with more magical abilities that I can do without a wand.

Anyway now that you know a little about me back to my first day at Hogwarts. Since my parents were muggles this big guy named Hagrid took me to the bank for money I apparently had. When the goblin got to my vault Hagrid handed him my key and opened the vault. When the vault opened I saw many piles of money in it.

I took a pouch of it, then the goblin closed the vault and handed me the key. I gently took the key and stuffed my hand in my pocket so they won't see me magically put it in my magic inventory that only I can access. After the bank Hagrid took me shopping for school supplies. When I was done picking out my books the last two items on the list were: wand and familiar. Hagrid directed me to Ollivanders Wand shop while he did an errand.

After I had the right wand I heard a knock on the window.  I turned my head to see Hagrid holding up a black cat with blue eyes. I couldn't hide the awe in my face as I saw the cat. I quickly paid for the wand, thanked Ollivander then rushed outside. When we were walking to the train station Hagrid handed me a ticket and said to go without him because he needed to run a letter to somewhere. I arrived at the train station only to realize there was no such thing as a 9 and 3/4 platform.

There was either 9 or 10. I saw a black haired boy with similar stuff as me pass and run through a wall then disappeared. I took a deep breath and did the exact thing as he did while hoping I didn't imagine it all. When I opened my eyes and rounded the corner my eyes were met with a train that said Hogwarts express. I quickly stowed my things and magically put on my robe.

Then I looked for a place to sit, which was hard because everywhere else seemed full except one stall. I went up to it and saw the black haired boy with a redhead and a brown haired girl talking. I hesitantly opened the door and timidly asked "can I sit with you guys? Everywhere else is full". "Of course come sit next to me" the brown hair replied.
