Alaric was walking down his castle hall, and with a golden, blue-jeweled crown atop his head, he stood out much more than normal.

As he pushed open the gigantic doors leading to the entrance of his castle, two soldiers greeted him, "Greetings, sire!"

With a nod, Alaric continued to walk on his way. 'There isn't much longer until the Neuling Kingdom attacks. I need to evacuate the citizens now.'

Although the barrier slimes were ready for combat, the fact that a rank-6 existence, along with multiple rank-5s was going to attack was grim news. Those slimes were, after all, only rank-4.

After exiting the castle gates, Alaric was immediately greeted with a grand view of his city. Citizens were skipping about as they walked with their families, used the food stalls, and traveled to their respective destinations.

"Too bad this peace has to end soon... it's okay, they've already been warned."
