47 [Bonus chapter]Setting Off

Eventually, the spiky slime decided to follow Alaric. Its method of movement, while not especially fast, could still keep up. The slime shot a spiky tendril into the ground and pulled itself forward. 

'Cini doesn't just do it one at a time either, it does it over and over and manages to barely keep up with my running speed at rank 2,' Alaric pondered.

With their speed being especially impressive, Alaric and Cini arrived quickly. Alaric had 3 village strongmen quickly build something resembling a dog house for Cini, as it was a bit dangerous to leave the slime out in the open like the others.

'Well, I'll just have the villagers bring it food offerings three times a day. This slime is a spoiled one.'

After having the men handle Cini's temporary living space, Alaric went to find Piko, ordering Cini to behave and sit still with 50% of his total mana reserves.
