1 Chapter 1: Candidate

*beep* *beep* *beep*

Toshiari wakes up to see his school uniform hung on his door and his alarm still beeping continuously, Toshiari pushes the alarm clock off his table breaking on impact.

"Alright, another 3 more days until half yearly exams," Toshiari exclaimed tiredly while getting out of bed and putting his uniform on slowly.

Once Toshiari is finished getting dressed he leaves his room and sneakily passes the kitchen and lounge room but right before he can reach the door

"Toshiari, just where exactly do you think your going, you still have to eat breakfast with your favorite cousin?" Kazumi screamed from the kitchen. Toshiari quickly prepares some peanut butter and jelly toast for his cousin while also preparing his school bag.

"OH MY GOD TOSH, are you actually multi-tasking right now because that is certainly a rare sight, usually you stay cooped up in your room playing on your computer so how exactly did you require the skill set to use more than at least 1 brain cell in a matter of 2 days?!"

"BE QUIET, i'm concentrating here and also that was the old me, I've transferred here in the middle of the school year and the school board were kind enough to let me join the school, despite my previous record but only if i pass the mid-term exams, so they gave me the books i needed and now it's just the matter if i pass or not, and to make sure I do I have been staying up late studying," Toshiari finished packing his bag and put it near the door afterwards, he also finished making Kazumi some peanut and jelly toast so he put it on a plate on the table she was sitting at.

Toshiari walked over to his bag put it on his shoulder and opened the door but immediately regretted it after seeing some long luxurious golden hair swaying in the wind and also into his face.

"HOWDY TOSHIARI READY FOR A FUN FRIDAY OF SCHOOL!"

"Bood morging Chidoru, waib NO,(Toshiari pulls her hair away from his face) Chidoru I know you are supposed to be the person observing me to see if I am capable of handling the stress and expectations given to me by both the student council and headmistress but just because you live in the neighboring apartment it doesn't mean you also have to wait for me every morning aswell as walk with me to school,"Toshiari says while starting to dreadfully walk with Chidoru.

"NO, Tosh I got told to watch over you to see your progress and how well your do with the stress so I will always be here waiting for you!" Chidoru said in a raised tone.

The Headmistresses Office

"Chidoru how is Toshiari going so far?" The Headmistress asked

"Toshiari is studying very hard ,"

"How do you know he still isn't playing games up till late and is in fact actually studying?"

"Because madam when i was waiting for him to leave his apartment i heard his cousin scream out about how surprised she was when she noticed Toshiari was multi-tasking and he told Kazumi that he was staying up late studying,"

"Interesting, but do you think he could be a candidate?"

"with all things considered, Yes Madam, Yes I do,"

"Alright I'll trust your judgement, give him the test trial,"

After School

"TOSH, WAIT UP!" Chidoru screamed while running out of the school entrance

"Chidoru, where were you today, I was seriously worried because you followed me to school but you didn't show up for class so I didn't know if you had to go somewhere or you got abducted on the way to school and I just kept on walking and then It would be MY FAULT that you went missing," Toshiari exclaimed with tears welling up in his eyes

Chidoru puts her hand in her right pocket and pulls out a syringe containing a green substance for the injection but pauses and hides the syringe

"say Tosh, why exactly did you get so worked up about me not being there?"

"I have my past and you have your own so please mind your own buisness,"

"oh yeah also w-

Toshiari gets cut off mid-sentence by Chidoru injecting the Green substance into his body

Toshiari falls to the floor with a big *Thud*

"why Chidoru wh-....." Toshiari mumbles to himself but ends up going unconscious from the the mixture of shock and the substance that was injected into his body.
