2 A Village Boy

"look dad he opened his eyes" said a voice of young girl.

" ok , sweetie can you go so i can talk to him" said man

"no dad i want to stay "

" I know but you can't i want to talk to him alone"

" where am I " kyle said while holding his head because of the pain.

"You are in a village on the border of the astria kingdom, tell me how did you end up in the river" said the man that is obviously the girl's father.

" river, what river and what the hell is this astria kingdom"said kyle

" The astria kingdom is in the east side silic contenient, if you are not from here then where are you from, oh i forgot my name is roger" exclaimed after hearing the boy's comment.

Kyle pondered on what the man said "Either there is a new contenient or this man is nuts. In any case i have to go to work or i am so fired"

Kyle tried to stand but he felt something is wrong , he looked at his hand saw that they are smaller than usual, kyle stood up and went to a mirror in the room while groaning from the pain from his fall injuries.

" what the f***, how am i a six year old" thought kyle while obviously in shock and roger is confused but didnt think too much about it as this may be the first time the boy

seen a mirror as it is a rare thing in this countryside.

While roger is trying to figure why kyle was surprised of a mirror kyle was horrified of his current situation but he was still thinking of a way to explain the mess he is in. kyle seen all kinds of movies and read all kinds of novels but he still didnt want to believe this was happening.

kyle suddenely turned around and asked" wher did you say this was again?" he was trying to make sure he wasn't on earth.

" I told you this is the northren border of the astria kingdom in the molte battle village"

"what is a battle village and where is this astria kingdom" kyle was trying to know about this world but apperantly he didnt do it discreatly enough as roger was shocked.

" I can accept not knowing the kingdom because nobody memorizes a map espically a kid but a battle village is common knowledge."

kyle began sweating while thinking that roger might find out that he is from another world because he didn't know if this otherworlders is common in this world, "well i guess that the fall did a number on you, a battle village is village that is on the border of akingdom that raises warriors to defend the borders, all kingdoms have them so must have you lost your memory, i didn't ask but what is your name? If you remeber it".

[KYLE POV]

After hearing what the old man said I felt relived that I didn't find an excuse for not knowing anything, besides wasn't I supposed to get the body's owner's memory , well this is real life, so no cliches, but can i say my name since it is memory loss excuse i am going with i should do it the end

" i don't remember" after saying that i felt it wasn't belivable but well it was already said and done.

" dont worry i can name and take you in until you regain your memory, well then let's think of a good name" the old man said while going to deep thought.

I don't know if it is a hood or a bad thing but

to be a village boy will be new.

The old man suddenly laughed and said

"i got the perfect name, kyle is what you will be called"

i was dumbfounded, i was just thinking there will be no cliche and suddenly the mother of all cliches happened.

Breaking the silence the old man said "We are in a battle village so we cant have usless males"starting tomorrow you will join in the training of the other kids to be a warrior"

Suddenly i felt that i know where this is going

I knew it but then again in which novel i read was there a farm boy otherworlder.
