No One's POV

Arya was summoned to the royal guard, to meet with her superior for some unknown reason. She swam as fast as she could from her safe spot in the ocean as she couldn't be late. Unbeknownst to her she was gonna be given a task that she would not like at all. Arya has always been feared by everyone because she is ruthless, and a very good hunter. Arya wasn't always like this, she use to be the most loving and beautiful siren. But after the humans killed her sister over a hundred years ago she's never been the same.

Arya finally arrived at the court, a little late." Arya nice of you to join us, her superior had boomed across the court full of the mer people. "Would you care to explain why you are late"she said as the enormous crowd of her people fell silently waiting for Arya's reply. "I have no reason to explain myself to you, or do you forget what today is," Arya replied cockily. That shut her up so quickly, Arya chuckled. "I have a task for you", her superior sneered. "You will go on land and find men for us to mate with and will report back in 2 years", she sneered. Gasps where heard all around the room. "I will not and you know damn well why I will not", Arya screamed. " I am your superior you will do as I say", she boomed so loud I think the whole ocean heard. " If you make me do this you will live to regret it, and you best believe I will get my revenge you monstrous bitch. You won't be in charge when I get back either", Arya smirked. And gasps where heard once again. Everyone knew Arya's threats where never empty. Arya left the court and got ready to go to land.

Arya's POV

"I was livid i hated all things human, and she assigned me to this that woman is just evil", i thought silently. I swam to shore and pulled myself out of the water, the pain was excruciating I writhed in pain. It was so bad I passed out, but what I didn't know was that a boy was walking by and heard my screams.

Carson's POV

I heard screams of pain and ran towards the direction they were coming from. "Aspen come on girl", I said.I rushed to see a girl lying on the sand nude, and passed out. I quickly took my shirt off and covered her, and gently I picked her up bridal style and carried her to my car. I thought about bringing her to a hospital and dropping her off but she had no identification or clothes for that matter,instead I decided to take her to my house. She was so stunningly gorgeous, I was mesmerized by her beauty she wasn't from here I could tell that much. I needed answers, I needed her, I felt drawn to her and I don't know why. I sped off In the direction of my house, I got there and aspen jumped out of the car barking at the girl and I couldn't under why, she seemed nice. I walked to the door of my house unlocked it and aspen automatically ran inside, I went back out to my car to get the girl hoping she was still there, she was and she was still resting. I brought her inside and laid her on the couch me covered her in a blanket, she had a stray hair fall into her face. I swiftly brushed it out of her face, I pulled my hand back and she leaned into my hand. I got up and went into the kitchen to make something to eat. I was making shrimp scampi, and old recipe my mom taught me before she left, when I heard aspen barking erratically. I quickly turned the stove off and went into the living room to see the girl looking around angrily. "Where am I", I heard her whisper. "Your in my house", I replied. She jumped up ready to attack me. "Who are you", she seethed. "I mean you no harm I was walking along the beach you washed up on, and I took you here", I told her.

"I need clothes ",she said. I quickly went up stairs and went through the stuff my mom left behind, and found clothes for her to wear. I ran down the stairs and handed her the folded clothes. "Here these should fit you, you look the same size as my mum", I said.
