69 Kind Relative

"How dare you!" Olly's eyes turned bloodshot. His anger soared further as he noticed the looks of amusement on everyone around him

"What do you mean by dare?" Kiba seemed confused, "Are you perhaps talking about my dare for ---?"

Kiba didn't complete his words but everyone understood what he meant. Olly trembled from anger. The veins on his forehead and neck popped up, on the brink of exploding!

"Who do you think you are to speak in such a way with Olly!?" Rogan thundered. He tried his best to pacify Olly and prevent him from attacking Kiba.

They were haughty but not fools. They knew the mess they would be in if they damaged any of the paintings while dealing with Kiba. So they wanted to make Kiba apologize by flaunting their backgrounds. Alas, they didn't know Kiba...

"Who am I?" A bashful smile appeared on Kiba's face as he replied, "Olly already told you that! I can't speak more otherwise his mother would feel I'm not good at keeping secrets!"

Dammit!

Olly couldn't believe how Kiba was toying with him just due to one word. Gritting his teeth, he summoned an energy chain made of blue light.

Without any warning, he whipped the chain towards Kiba. The chain compressed the air and resulted in a sonic blast as it rushed at Kiba's head. The combined might of the blast and the chain were ready to engulf Kiba!

The smile on Kiba's face didn't waver at all. He gently stretched his hand to catch the chain.

"Courting death!" Olly laughed seeing Kiba's relaxed attitude in the face of his attack. But then his expression turned into that of horror as Kiba easily grabbed the chain, without showing any discomfort!

Kiba waved his other hand and the might of sonic blast vanished in thin air!

Olly's expression turned ugly. He tried his best to pull the chain but it proved futile, It was like the chain was grabbed by a mountain instead of a human!

"This is not the right way to behave!" A dejected expression appeared on Kiba's face as he said, "Given my relationship with your mother, I would teach you in her stead!"

Kiba lightly tapped on the chain. Crackling sounds erupted from the chain, as if his fingertips were hammers, smashing into glass.

"No!"

The chain links started exploding into ripples of energy. The explosion did no harm to Kiba but Olly was different. His hands, which were holding the chain, exploded in blood and gore.

"Olly!" Rogan's eyes blazed with fury. The floor below his feet fractured to pieces, and he transformed into a beam of light.

He charged straight at Kiba. His speed was so fast that he instantly appeared in front of Kiba.

From his back, four enormous spider-like legs emerged, and they stabbed forward, aiming at Kiba's chest.

Rogan smirked as he saw the spider legs about to pierce into Kiba's chest, but then his pupils constricted with shock.

"I don't believe in violence so I will dodge!" Kiba remarked as he teleported away. The spider legs passed by the place where Kiba was and stabbed towards the painting just behind!

There was an invisible force field protecting the painting, and its defensive mechanism activated as the legs stabbed.

"Aahhhhh!" Rogan released a heart-wrenching scream. 

The force field surged a corroding poison into the spider legs. Just like how flames burn away a piece of paper, the spider legs started turning to ashes.

With a loud thud, Rogan collapsed on the floor, wriggling in pain. His back was filled with burn marks as the poison invaded his insides.

Sarah and others were surprised but not shocked. They knew Kiba's reputation as one of the strongest mutants in the city so it was nothing remarkable for him to defeat two kids.

"It was plain bullying!" Sarah thought.

She felt those two would have thought a hundred times before attacking if they knew about him. Sadly, they didn't as they were new in the city.

"Oops!" Kiba arrived in front of Rogan, "Don't you know the paintings are protected by force fields in order to fight burglary?"

SON OF A BITCH!

Rogan could barely mutter a curse. The poison was slowly corroding his organs...

"Haah!" Kiba let out a sigh and said, "She would feel sad when she learns her son has a thieving friend!"

Kiba then stepped towards Olly who lying on the floor. His face was filled with blood, tears, and sweat as he looked at his severed hands.

Meanwhile, a team of guards finally jumped in action. They rushed into the exhibition hall to tackle the situation

"Quick! Call a medical team!" Kiba shouted at the rushing guards, "My relative and his friend are gravely injured! If anything happens to them, I will sue you all and the hotel!"

The guards stopped in shock. They wondered if they were hearing right... he would sue them and the hotel for something he has done?! 

At the same time, Olly truly regretted calling Kiba a 'motherfucker'. He wished he could go back in time and stop his naive self from offending this monster.

A few minutes later, a doctor arrived and gave Olly an injection. Soon, the bleeding stopped and the minor wounds healed.

"For regenerating his hands, we will need to take him to the cloning chamber!" The doctor informed," It will be quite costly!"

Without any hesitation, Kiba took out a platinum card. He gave it to the doctor and said, "Put all his expenses under me! I might be not related to him by blood but I can still be considered as a relative!"

The doctor was surprised for the card denoted he was a platinum customer. Someone the hotel regarded as important. The treatment for cloning was costly even for a platinum customer, and yet this man showed no hesitation.

The doctor turned towards Olly, and with an envious tone, he remarked: "Kid, you are lucky to have such a kind relative!"
