3 The longest Ride

It was evening night and the movers were almost done. They thought that they would cover small things left in the morning, but Mary was a tough person to convince, they movers were said to complete the task that night and so the movers did it with half their mind on sleep. This was one of the many moments that Dominic and Lara made of their aunts, they made these stages to represent the mood of their aunt and so what they should do at that time to convince them. It was the only time when both of them used to work together and agree on. The moment was known to be stage 1.

On stage 1, their aunt starts to see everything negatively and so they need to act as innocent they can be so she doesn't go to stage 2, which is nicknamed, the Goddess of persuasion. Well, the nicknames speak for itself. They including the movers were lucky that Mary didn't go to stage 2 till the movers were complete and went home quickly. Everything now was in that truck.

"Well now we go to the hard part of the last night", Dominic says to Lara.

"Why does mom have to be so insecure that the stuff in the truck would get stolen, it's not like anything valuable is in it and also the truck is locked," Lara says to Dominic. "Well if even anything happens to the truck, I am lucky that I don't have much of my stuff in it." " No one would like to steal your Barbie house." said Dominic, "you have more knowledge about it more than me, why doesn't it surprise me," said Lara with a suspicious tone.

Dominic stood speechless. Lara, saying "And now that's Lara 2, Dominic 3" and goes to her room. Dominic also goes to his room with embarrassment.

The next morning, Mary was back to normal, but she was energized and enthusiastic about something. Dominic comes outs of his room as he yawns and suddenly sees his aunt energized. "How and why are you so enthusiastic about moving aunt?" Dominic asks while yawning. Mary turns and is surprised by him. "How did you even come here, I didn't even hear a footstep, well never mind, well we are going to a better place." " You said that every time we moved, and even so you are energetic like we are going to have a fresh start," said Dominic while still yawning.

There was silence for a minute in the room, which was broke by Lara, who came rushing towards her mom. "Mom we can't leave, we are in a war, and I can't leave now." Lara cried, Mary, confused turns towards Dominic and silently makes a face, 'what is going on?' He moves his mouth without any sound, 'TEEN DRAMA'.

It was afternoon, and the neighborhood was quiet, all known friends of Mary came and said their goodbyes. The sky was cloudy and they were just going to close the house. They all went towards truck turned and had a last moment with the house.

Dominic says " It's getting creepy now let's leave!" The other two agrees and then quickly sits in the truck. "Okay boys and girls let roll," said Mary, but both Lara and Dominic interrupts her, and ask that why isn't there any seatbelts in here? " Ohh darlings we don't need seatbelts, I am as good as a NASCAR driver," they both look at each other, and Dominic whispers, " Doesn't NASCAR has accidents" to Lara, who suddenly starts saying prayers.

"Ok now if you all are ready, let's roll", and suddenly trucks tire rub against the road, creating smoke and smell of burning rubber, the engines are roared to life. The truck suddenly starts to accelerate towards the main road. It keeps taking sharp turns and pressing horn which made sounds like

'ponp ponp, ponp ponp ponp'

And was bouncing children so hard that they thought they were sitting on rocks. They both kept having their heads collide with each other and on the other side, Mary was having the best drive of her life.

Within minutes they were on the highway, and they passing cars like they were in a police pursuit. Well, it was not minutes before they were pulled over by a police car.

It took a hell of explaining to the police officer who was 5 foot tall and was eating his donut with pieces of crumbs on his beard. Well, thanks to Mary's, super persuasion thingy, which got him out of their hair within 10 minutes.

Now that Mary started to drive like a sane person and Dominic was listening to old albums of his songs. Where else Lara had a different taste which was not shocking for a person who stays on their phones, with their power banks in their pocket, headphones with maximum volume and being 'tots hashtag'.

After 2 hours of drive, they stopped at a highway patrol station. While the truck was getting its tank full, Mary was flirting with the shop guy to get snacks for a discount, and Lara was, either searching for reception, or she was taking selfies, for her '#Newlife'. Well, Dominic never got why people are so… fixated on social media.

Well anyway when the tank was full, The truck again roared back to life, crushing the peace of the road.
