Chapter 1

I didn't know it was today. It's been a while since I checked my calendar.

I quickly went to Mr. Anderson and asked him for permission to go to the restroom. Yes, it's my period! I did my business and went back to class. It was the last lesson of the day. We don't have ASP (after school program) today so I'm free. Asp is a class in our school where all juniors and freshmen are expected to take. We finish our homework and the teacher revises the lessons of the past days. My friends and I skip every Tuesday and Thursday, kind of like tradition. There is no attendance and the teacher is probably tired to notice too so we don't get in trouble much.

I took some books from my locker to study since I have an exam tomorrow. My sister and our driver were waiting for me at the gate. I told them that I didn't have After School today and to just sit and move is much better than walking so...

My sister is 13 and she is so sweet, nowhere how I was her age. I acted like a bitch, unwise...I wouldn't say stupid but she is kind and Loves tv. She watches movies and shows all the time. When she saw me she smiled and linked our arms. I greeted David with a smile and we walked to the car.

I am so tired. All I want is a hot shower and my bed. I'm sure I'm going to have a very bad cramp tomorrow. I always have one on my 2nd day. What makes it worse is that I have exams and I can't just skip school.

I opened the door, with Leslie right behind me. As always we're greeted with deafening silence, which I actually like but sometimes it scares me like the movies where there's a serial killer waiting behind the curtains. Mom works till 8 pm and our dad died in a car accident when I was 5 and I think Heath was 9. I would say I miss him but I don't really remember him that much, he used to travel a lot for work and I guess I just got used to his absence.

Anyway I went straight to my room, threw my bag on the floor and entered my bathroom. I quickly stripped off my uniform ( yeah I learn in Redmoon, a Private school but trust me we're nowhere fancy as you may think, just normal) I skipped to the shower and once the hot water hit my shoulders, my muscles relaxed and became more lazy.

Once I finished, I dried myself and changed to my comfy pajamas and as my neck rested on my pillows, my phone buzzed. I checked my phone to see it was Becca asking me if I went home since I haven't seen her after school. I told her that I got my period today and that's why I went straight home. Everyone knows about my abdominal cramp due my period week especially her. I checked if I had any other messages and saw I got 3 on whatsapp all from Heath. Heath is my older brother, he is in his 2nd year of Accountant in Boston University. I really miss him, he sent me a video of him and his friends eating some chicken in a restaurant. He said hi and that he missed us and that he'll come back soon to visit. I replied with some 'missed u too' and 'can't wait bro' and put my phone down.

I drifted to sleep worrying that I haven't studied.
