Thalia's whole life she's been hated and ignored by her father, King Damien. His only reason for keeping her alive ,was a curse. While Queen Gaia was pregnant with Thalia, she was discovered to be a witch. After discovering Gaia to be a witch, Damien threw her in the dungeons, to be executed by burning after she gave birth. Despite Gaia many appeals to see the King, he denied her, believing she tricked him, to marry her, to gain the throne. When the time came for the Queen to give birth the King was sent for. When King Damien arrived in the birthing chamber he went to the baby ,seeing the baby was born a girl he drew his sword to kill the infant, Gaia who lay on the bed weak and dying begged Damien to spare their child. Before Damien was able kill the baby, Gaia cursed them both saying " The child's days shall be as yours, any injury to her shall be like a mirror unto you"
