congratulation, you are going to be a father

John William is an orphan, raised in an orphanage since he was a baby, he was a brilliant, honest and a good looking boy and was loved by mostly everyone in orphanage.

Mr Austin often visit the orphanage to give his support to the children since he has been married for a while now and does not have a baby of his own, he has been observing John at most of the time he visits, the boy was to his liking. he then decide to help him, he wanted to adopt him at first but he thought of how his wife might misunderstood his intention and thought he has given up on having one of there own, John was six years old so he decide to sponsor him in whatever way he could, he spoke to the orphanage about it and they were very happy to hear it, they have always fear for the boy future, he's too brilliant and they knew they couldn't offer all the support the boy need to have an outstanding future, they thanked him repeatedly like he was their son he wants to help, Mr Austin also felt he has made a right decision seeing how happy the orphan mothers are.

about six month after he has been helping the boy, just like a miracle he receive news from his wife that he would soon be a father as she's a two week pregnant, his wife discover this early cause she always pay extra attention to herself, if she had a slight headache, she will visit their doctor immediately same when she has cold, felt weak and other normal sickness that affect the body.

she wasn't expecting this news but when she woke up that morning and felt strange on the inside like when she unknowingly smell the scent of the flower she was allergy to, she stood up and squealing her face in irritation.

as she made her way outside she felt an urge to puke and ran to the bathroom, Austin who has been awake for a while now saw this and went after her, seeing that she doesn't seem to be exaggerating as usual went to pat her back.

Austin: are you okay?

Esther: I don't know, I just... before she could finish she felt the urge again and quickly turn back to the sink and vomit

Austin: looking worried. how about you wash up and let me take you to the hospital

Esther: rinse her mouth and look up at her husband in chock, he was always against her frequent visit to the hospital, he always sees the disappointment on her face when she told him it's just normal headache, normal this and normal that. but this time he suggest it. looking at his worried face she smile gently and spread her hand for him to hug her, since she's has a short stature so her husband has to level with her to hug her. am fine, am sure it's nothing as usual. she said in an assuring but sad tone, you should go prepare for work.

Austin: ok, just make sure you rest well, and call me if anything..... Esther cuts in, it's okay dear just go she said pushing him out of the bathroom,

after a while Austin left for work, and Esther immediately after seeing him left went to dress up as well to make a visit to the hospital, she would never overlook signs like this, she is just tired of sharing the disappointment with her husband.

when Austin phone rang, he was in a meeting with his staff, but he has instruct his P.A to inform him if his wife called as he was still worried about her.

his P.A knocked and came in to inform him that his wife was calling, he took his phone worriedly and turn away from his staff

Austin: hello! are you okay?

Esther: have never been this fine in my whole life

Austin: whatsup? what's going on?

Esther: congratulation you are going to be a father. she said happily stressing the word father, she couldn't wait to share the news with and called him immediately she left the hospital

Austin: what! he said standing up from his chair, are you serious ? he asked placing his hand on his mouth,

are you okay sir? one of the staff asked.

since what! followed by are you serious could mean a lot of thing, since his had his back facing them, they could not make out his facial expressions, they could only feel the chock in his voice.

Esther: am damn serious, I just left the hospital and I have the result here with ME.

Austin: i will meet you at home immediately. he end the call and face his staff, am fine thank you, you guys continue with the meeting, facing his P.A, clear my schedule for the whole month. he said and left not minding the surprise look on everyone's face, this is an important moment in his and his wife life, and he has to be there for her, work can wait.

reality later dawn on the P.A after he left, wait a minute, one whole month? he realise he would have to suffer through that month since he would have to take care of most of the cases, but who should he complain to, it's is work.
