A New Beginning

Location: Japan

Year: 1250

"What a joke.... Can't believe I'm gonna die like this ..." The man laughed.

" The only one to blame is you, for being such an idiot." The Emperor of Japan proclaimed. "Execute him." Like a elegant dance, the blade laid out the order and sliced through the man's chest.

"Unbelievable..." The man pondered. "To die to some greedy bastard after all that training I had to go through." The man's eyes welled up with tears... He wasn't crying out of sadness or despair; he was crying because he was mad. His teeth started grinding and he was final words were, "Hopefully my next life will be a normal one ." The man smirked and finally passed away. Nothing but silence and dust were the ones that remained.

"Hey Junichiro, it's time to wake up~" A silhouette of a woman whispered. As I woke up and regain my senses, I find myself in the body of a 10 year old boy.

"Hmm... This is unexpected. I always thought the idea of reincarnation was nothing but a myth but it seems like I was wrong..." I thought to myself.

"JUNICHIRO!" My mom yelled.

"I'm up, I'm up," I replied in a tone of weariness.

" Hurry up and get ready for school, I also made breakfast so you better hurry." As I get ready, I noticed my body was skinny and scrawny with no ounce of strength. My hair was dark as the night sky while my eyes were the color of crimson.

"This body is nothing compared to my original body," I thought. " I guess I need to start training again." I make my way to the table and eat my breakfast with my mother and father before I make my way to school. My father stands around 185 cm tall, whereas my mother stands around 170 cm tall. My father's body was well-built and robust, and his hair, like mine, was black. My mother, on the other hand, had the body of a normal human, with brown hair and a kind face to match.

" You better have a good day at school today and don't get in trouble," My mom said with a gentle voice.

" Yes ma'am," I replied.

"You ready?" My dad asked with a mature voice.

"Yeah I'm gonna head out now." I answered as I make my way towards the door. "See you guys later!" Then I got outside and began walking down the path that led to the school.
