15 Invading The South(1)
The road to the castle town was very silent. Nobody talked, they were focused on what to do next.
All the dead Kaguya and Uchiha were still there, they hadn't cleaned the mess.
"Open the gate!"
The Kusa opened the gate. Entering in the castle town, they saw the Kusa sitting and eating, drinking, it was as if they had already won the war.
"Stay here, men. I will go tell lord Kusa about the new plans."
Kentaro walked to the manor, arriving at the third floor he knocked on the door and entered.
"Oh, Kentaro, hahaha. So in what state is Hayakama village in?"
"It has been burned down and every villager with the exception of women have been killed. I am here to inform you that we will invade tomorrow."
Lord Kusa thought that this was a joke.
"hahaha, very funny. Nothing can happen to Hayakama village, it is strongly guarded."
Kentaro was getting angry, this lord Kusa was either dumb or not accepting reality.
"Lord Kusa! Stop laughing, now is not the time! Tomorrow we invade the south! If you do not accept my suggestion, my Fujimoto clan will stop helping this instance."
Visibly not happy on the tone in which Kentaro has talked to him, lord Kusa could not say or do nothing but accept.
"Very well, I shall inform my men immediately. As for your clan, you can rest yourselves in the castle to-"
"We will make ourselves a camp outside. I will take my leave now."
Leaving the room, Kentaro and the others exited the castle town.
If they wanted to make a camp for the day here, they had to dispose of all this corpses.
Habiki placed his two hands on the ground, the ground splitted large enough for a good amount of corpses to fall in.
In a second's time they had disposed of the corpses on the battlefield.
The rest of the clan created a camp and fortified it.
"What will the plans be for tomorrow, Kentaro?"
"We have to coordinate our assault with the Kusa clan, once we know their plans we will make one for ourselves."
Kentaro stood up and layed down alone in a corner of the camp. They left him alone, he had to rest.

They passed hours in the camp, preparing for tomorrow. Lord Kusa had come by to explain his plan.
"Kentaro, I will tell you how I have decided to invade the south. First I want you and your men to penetrate the region, when you are clear of enemies, send me a messenger bird.
Then we will launch a full scale invasion. Once we have a good ground, we could create camps here and there. Your men must be in shape for the assault that we will launch on their headquarters.
So when possible do not fight."
"What about the spoils of war, what will we get for our efforts."
"Kentaro, we will discuss about this once we have won the war."
It was fair enough for Kentaro, after all the lives they had lost, they could not leave without compensation.
When lord Kusa entered back in the castle town he gave a paper to a guard, this the Fujimoto had not seen.
The guard began running south, until he could not be seen.
The Fujimoto clan and the Kusa clan slept, resting their bodies from today's battle to fight anew tomorrow.
Fabiki woke Kentaro up, he gave to each clan member a cloth headband with the clan's crest on it.
Putting his straw hat aside, Kentaro weared the headband. All his brethren looked determined and ready to fight, to the death.
"Aruno, call your eagle. We shall use him to send messages to lord Kusa."
"Yes." Aruno was the brother of Habiki. He had an eagle which was extremely obedient to him.
The thirty eight man squad leaved the castle town's vicinity.
From far away, lord Kusa gazed at them with a heinous look.
"good luck, Fujimoto."
Passing Hayakama village and going one kilometer further, Kentaro met with the mushroom forest a second time.
"We will form a big triangle. If someone is attacked, the triangle will stop and the ones who are next to the one who is attacked shall help him."
Nodding to Kentaro's word, they quickly formed a very big triangle and advanced in the forest from tree to tree.
They had killed a big number of Kaguya in the battle so there was no sign of them being in the forest, well they had yet to go deep enough.
"Look there, Kentaro. A woman."
A woman was crying on the ground, she tried to speak but it was like her throat was stucked.
A clan member approached her.
"madam, are you alright?"
Habiki had remarked something weird, paper bombs!
"BOUUUUUUUUM!" the Fujimoto exploded and so did the women.
Now that the Kaguya were less, they used such tactics.
"Go and take his weapons, we will need them."
They recuperated his weapons, but his body was left there. They had not the luxury to bury it or take it with them at the moment.
"Damned forest, we have only set foot here for a couple of minutes but we have already lost one man."
Kentaro didn't like it, it was also like this last time and he had to escape.
"From now on, if you see random people while advancing, do not approach them or kill them if they are a threat. Understood?!"
"Yes!"
The Fujimoto continued their advance in the mushroom forest.
