Daitan's Proposal(2)

"Daitan, I understand what you are saying. Having kids right now is not a good idea, I have much going on in my mind. Plus, does Amaterasu agree on that?" Daitan hadn't the same opinion as Kentaro.

"Kentaro, you must know it better than anyone else, you can die anytime in this warring period. What if you get assassinated tomorrow? Will you leave this world without leaving a descendent behind?"

"I don't know of a shinobi that wields enough power to be capable of assassinating me. I refuse to marry your daughter, Daitan, please understand me." Kentaro casted a few looks at Mū, telling him to say something.

"If you refuse to marry Amaterasu, then, the Kamizuru clan will retract itself from the alliance!" Kentaro wanted to say something but Daitan didn't give him the time to do it.

"Think about it for God's sake! Our two clans are the mightiest of this land. If the other clans of the land of earth see that the head of the Fujimoto clan married with my daughter, rallying all of them would become an easy task."

Kentaro took his cup of tea and brought it closer to his mouth. He was thinking about what Daitan just said, he had no other choice but to accept.

Kentaro drank the cup and looked at Daitan, he had already made his mind up.

"So be it, on my part, I accept. Now, if Amaterasu doesn't want to, then we wo-" Kentaro was cut by Amaterasu's both serious and excited voice.

"I accept! Hmm...If this is what I must do for the clan to prosper, then I will gladly do it." at first she yelled, she quickly cleared her throat and used a humble tone.

"You see? there is nothing to worry about, Kentaro. Now that this has been discussed, let's talk about the upcoming summit."

Mū stood up and took Onoki out of Amaterasu's arms, he left the room and so did she. This sort of discussion was only done between clan leaders.

"I heard from one of my brethren that many clans will gather here. It will be the perfect time to explain what I plan to do."

"And what do you plan to do?" this was in Daitan's nature, to always know what his ally or collaborator planned to do.

"I think that I already told you or not? It doesn't matter, I plan to gather all the clans and wandering shinobi of this land to unite them as one." Daitan was impressed by Kentaro's goal.

"Humble goal, only you are capable of accomplishing such a feat. But, won't the whole shinobi world panic when we will unite? I fear that they will do the same thing as us."

What Daitan said was a fact, the other clans will do the same thing. That's why Kentaro had a better idea.

"Everything will happen in the greatest of secrets. We will strengthen ourselves in the shadows while the rest of the world fights and weaken themselves. There will come one day when two specific clans will adopt the system I am trying to create, when it happens, we shall come out of the shadows and show them the might of the stone."

Daitan was truly impressed, Kentaro had thought about everything or almost everything.

"Nothing goes as planned in this world, what will you do to the clans who refuse to join what you are trying to create?" Kentaro had never thought about that.

He quickly thought about. The solution he found was simple, but effective.

"What I will do, is that what you ask me? It's very simple, I shall annihilate the clans unwilling to join me. I will not let them get in between what I try to achieve."

Daitan gave a little nod and stood up, he had heard enough. He was willing to completely trust his soon to be son-in-law.

"Alright then, let's get out of here and have some family time. I want to fight against you, Kentaro." with a faint smile on his face, Kentaro led Daitan to the training area.

The two men faced each other, Kentaro waited for Daitan to strike first. Behind the only tree in the vicinity Mū and Amaterasu discreetly looked at the upcoming fight.

"Fuck, big bro is gonna kick the clan leader's ass." Mū was on his knees, praying for Daitan.

"Don't say that, Mū! Don't think that father is weak, he is the clan leader after all." Amaterasu tried to convince herself, she knew deep inside that he had no chances of winning.

"So, will you attack? Daitan, are you perhaps scared? Worry not, father-in-law." Kentaro had a mocking tone.

"Little brat." Daitan didn't take it to heart, but he was preparing himself to strike. He was older than Kentaro, he had to kick his ass for having disrespected a senior.

Daitan charged at Kentaro, he was fast, much faster than what Kentaro expected. He tried to kick Kentaro in the chest, but it was stopped by Kentaro's hand.

With a spinning back kick, Kentaro made Daitan fall to the ground. He quickly stood up and formed hand seals.

The ground beneath Kentaro slowly formed a hole in which he fell. Deep inside, tens of sharp stone spears were waiting to pierce him.

With two rapid motions of his right arm, Kentaro created two blades of wind that cut all the sharp ends of the spears.

Kentaro fell down, the earth that split to create the hole was rejoining together. If Kentaro stayed there he would be crushed.

"Daitan those jutsu cannot hurt me. I hope that those are not the jutsu that you use in battle." the earth completely rejoined.

On the surface, Daitan was satisfied with how he quickly made work of Kentaro. Behind the tree, Amaterasu was impressed by her father.

As for Mū, he was still on his knees, praying for Daitan. He could sense Kentaro's chakra underground, he knew that he was preparing something.

Suddenly, the whole training area started to get wet, the place turned to mud. Kentaro was propelled from underneath the surface.

He landed back safely, he immediately formed two hand seals. From the mud around Daitan, three big mud hands formed, each held a judge's hammer.

"Mud style: The Three Hammers Of Judgement!"

He had created this jutsu not long ago, it was the first time he was going to use it. To not kill Daitan, Kentaro used a weak version of the jutsu.

The three mud hands slammed the hammers down on Daitan. Mud splashed everywhere, Kentaro hurriedly ran towards him.

He was lying on the mud field, blood was coming out his nose and mouth. He was still alive but in a bad state.

Kentaro carried Daitan out of the mud field, he then walked back to it and placed his two hands on the mud field. Kentaro turned it back into stone.

"Well, it's my win."
