218. Leaving

Dragon have won his battle with Sakazuki, and the clueless marine soldiers fall in despair. However, the high rank officers immediately calm them down and brief them about the deal. Many people are confused, but they know that Marine is not destroyed.

The RA Commanders brief Dragon about what happen too, and he is very surprised. He never have a plan to make a deal with the Marines like that, but the deal is actually good, and he approve it. Before the war, he is confused on how he will persuade the Marines, but it has been solved now.

Everyone then rest after such a long war. The alliance rest on their ship, while the Marine on the island. Straw Hats also rest on Sunny after cleaning themselves. The boys except Jon & Sanji didn't like to take a bath or shower regularly, but after the war, they need to take a bath & clean their body.

The next morning, everyone suddenly wake up because of a loud explosion. They all come out to look at the source, which is from the island. It's Sakazuki and Fujitora fighting with the other officers watching.

It seem Sakazuki have woke up and Fujitora told him the deal with Alliance. Sakazuki can't accept the deal that they made. His justice lined up with the previous law, and the new law that based on morality & humanity will be different for his own justice.

"Open yor eyes, Sakazuki! You have lost, so you need to accept the result and follow the winner. At least be thankful that you & many of our soldiers survived this war. What we need to do now is planning for the future. Marine is needed, so we can't let it destroyed even if we lost the war."-Fujitora

"Hmph, i've lost, but i don't like the fact that we'll follow their law now. Morality & humanity? Justice is absolute, and it didn't differentiate anyone. The new law based on morality & humanity will just make the justice weak."-Sakazuki

"It didn't differentiate anyone? Then why did that justice didn't work on Celestial Dragons or Shichibukai in the past? It also didn't work on Marine & WG who did something excessive that can be considered as crimes. Why did that Absolute Justice only aimed at innocent citizens?"-Fujitora

"Because we need to make sure that all the evils removed. If a few sacrifices are needed, then we need to take it. Marines or citizens, it didn't matter. If we need to sacrifice them, we will do it. This whole deal about the new law, will only make Marine weaker."-Sakazuki

"Make us weaker? You mean make us more humane? By becoming humane won't make us weaker."-Fujitora

"Of course it will, you will hesitate over a simple choice and make you lose."-Sakazuki

"What do you mean?"-Fujitora

"You will hesitate when one or a few people become hostages. You won't do anything even though the choice is simple. You just need to kill all of them, and problem solved."-Sakazuki

"That's your biggest problem, Sakazuki. You only think of one option, to kill them all when you actually have another options. You can send some people specialized in stealth to sneak in and save the hostages, but you choose to kill them all. I'm sure it will be different if the hostage is a noble. You will do anything to save them. Don't you know that other people also have families waiting their return? All lives matter, and no one should be sacrificed for justice."-Dragon

Dragon suddenly appear near Sakazuki & Fujitora.

"I know many of you think that justice is absolute and need to be established at all cost, even sacrificing others. But what if it's you or your loved ones that need to be sacrificed for your justice? If you can even kill your own comrades and those who you need to protect, then what is the difference between you and those criminals? You will just be a wolf in sheep's skin, hypocrites, worse than criminals."-Dragon

"SHUT UP, DRAGON! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT."-Sakazuki

Sakazuki suddenly attack Dragon, but Jon also suddenly appear on top of him. Jon punch Sakazuki to the ground with an advanced haki punch. Then Jon tie him with seastone chains and seastone handcuff to immobilize him.

"You've lost the war, Sakazuki. So accept it like a real man and don't complain too much. It make you look like a miser loser."-Jon

Jon hold Sakazuki on the ground while Dragon continue his speech. He try to make the Marines understand and realize that there is always a better option.

The lower ranked Marines usually just follow orders and didn't think much about how they do their mission. The real problem is the high ranked Marines that can order people. They have authority, and their ideals will decide where those below them, move in their justice.

Jon let Dragon do his business with the Marines and return to Sunny. The Straw Hats aren't really interested in that problem and choose to eat breakfast. Sanji have prepared the meal while Jon restrained Sakazuki, and now they eat.

"Hey Jon, what will you do with the big statue?"-Franky

"I'll just leave it there as a souvenir for the Marines. It will be troublesome to remove or destroy it."-Jon

"So you want to leave the demolision job to them?"-Yamato

"Yeah, that's their problem after all, not mine."-Jon

"Well, that's true. But i'm actually curious about your new eyes."-Robin

Jon then start to explain aboit his Rinnegan, and they all listen. Luffy, Chopper, & Usopp get really jealous of him when he said he can make mechanical body parts. That mean Jon can be something like organic cyborg now.

Jon didn't tell them about the Dimension Cutter, because he want to have some secrets, even from his friends. He always need a hidden skill that can be used when he's cornered. Beside, that technique is still not perfect, and he need to study it more.

"Hey Jon, what will happen after this war?"-Sanji

"The RA will take over the WG's job and govern the world. The Marine will still enforce the law, and hunt criminals. As for us, we will still be criminals because we are pirates."-Jon

"Then, won't they chase us after this?"-Zoro

"Eh? Maybe."-Jon

"Oioioi, we are their allies right? There's no way they'll chase us after winning this war."-Usopp

"No, they will chase us. We were allies for the war, but the war has finished now, and the RA will be the New World Goverment, so of course they will chase pirates like us."-Robin

"B-but why?"-Chopper

"Because the New WG need to make a good impression by capturing some pirates right after they are formed. And what's better to catch than an Emperor crew?"-Jon

"B-but Dragon is Luffy's father right?"-Usopp

"Father or not, if they're on different side, then they're enemies."-Nami

"T-then, we need to run."-Usopp

Usopp & Chopper immediately beg Luffy to run, but Luffy is confused & didn't understand. The others hold their laughter seeing Usopp & Chopper. They're just messing with the two, knowing they will be afraid.

After finishing their breakfast, the Straw Hats come out to the deck. Dragon, Sabo, Koala & Iva are there to meet them. Luffy approach Sabo instead of Dragon, make the other laugh.

"This is why you should take care of your own kid, fellas."-Jon

"You're right, i don't want my children to not even know my face."-Robin

"Well, some people just didn't care."-Jon

Everyone sweatdrop at Jon & Robin who mock Dragon. Jon like to mess around with anyone in RA when he trained there, and Robin often join his antique. The RA guys are too serious, so Jon like to mess around with them.

"Kid."-Dragon

"What? You're angry? Wanna go?"-Jon get into a funny snake fighting stance

"Sigh, no, i just want to tell you guys to leave this place in 3 hours. We have reached an agreement with the Marines, and we'll have deeper discussions. We'll also announce the result of this war & what we'll do after this to the world today."-Dragon

"So you need to make a good impression, and can't let pirates like us stay here?"-Jon

"Excactly. I'm thankful for your help in this war, but we need to gain public's trust too."-Dragon

"What about the Nations' troops?"-Jon

"They can leave too for now, as there won't be anything usefull to do in here. They just need to leave their representatives, because they will be one of the founding group of the New WG."-Dragon

"That's what he say Luffy, how is it?"-Jon

"It's okay, tell all the Captains to prepare! We will leave this place in an hour."-Luffy

""Understood.""-Straw Hats

The Straw Hats then move to prepare for their leave. Sanji call the other Captains, Franky & Usopp prepare the ship, Nami prepare their route after asking Luffy. Jon & Jane have some business with the RA, while the others prepare their necessities too.

"Did you take all documents & important stuffs from Mary Geoise."-Dragon

"Yeah, i have it in my scrolls. Let's unload it on your ship."-Jon

Jon go to RA's ship with Jane, Dragon & Koala, while Sabo stay on Sunny. Jane then take out a big scroll from inventory, she still have that power. Jon open the scroll and activate the some storage seals that contain documents & important stuffs from Mary Geoise.

"Documents, money, jewelries, devil fruits, etc. I've gathered as much as i could before i destroyed the city. Some of these are placed in the most protected building, so that must be very important."-Jon

"This big Straw Hat too?"-Koala

"Yeah, i found it in that protected building, so it must be important. Altough i don't know why. Maybe a gift from someone in the past."-Jon

"Hmm, we'll search the information about it later. At least now we have many useful things that we can use. We also have a lot of money to rebuild the city."-Dragon

"Have you took something from the treasures you found?"-Koala

"Of course, but i just took about 10%, i'm not that greedy."-Jon

"How can we be sure that it's 10%?"-Koala have a suspicious look

"You can't, you just need to trust me."-Jon said shamelessly

"..... Whatever, it's your battle anyway, so you can do what you want."-Koala

"How about the Marine?"-Jon

"The deal didn't change, so those who oppose this deal, like Sakazuki, choose to leave Marine."-Koala

"Then who will be the Fleet Admiral? I don't think Fujitora or Ryokugyu can take it, they're too inexperienced. As for Kizaru, that old man just didn't want to bother with anything."-Jon

"Sengoku advice us to take back Aokiji to Marine, and make him the Fleet Admiral."-Koala

"Huh? But he has allied himself with Blackbeard Pirate, how will you do it?"-Jon

"We'll just say that he is on a secret mission as a spy on Blackbeard Pirate. Now, he don't need to do it again, because the Fleet Admiral position is more urgent."-Koala

"Hmm, well, you can do what you like, just make sure that you guys raise our bounties."-Jon

"I know, don't worry!"-Koala

After finishing their business there, the Straw Hats & all pirate crews leave New Marineford. The Nations crews also leave with the pirates, except the Ryugu Kingdom. The New WG & Marine need to do some preparations first for the new system, so they'll be called if they're needed.

They will move to Dressrosa first, then to Wano with the Samurais, because these Samurais can't sail properly on the sea. If they leave these guys on their own, who knows what will happen. New World isn't so friendly, and an amateur crew will sink if they can't sail properly.

The pirate & Nation crews then have a big party on their way. They celebrate their victory today, altough they still need to run away. Jon also share the loot to the Pirate crews, and of course, they're happy. Finally, this war has really come to an end.
