149 148. Jon vs Burgess

Jon has catched up to Luffy's group, and they met with the Gladiators after being swept by Pica's punch. Some people then try to attack the targets for the reward, but easily defeated by the group.

All of them then go to the castle, and meet Luffy's new bull friend. He ride it with Law, Jon, and Zoro while Jon try to free Law. Jeet & Abdullah also suddenly jump in and ride the bull despite Luffy's disapproval.

They all run toward the castle which guarded by Pica's giant stone body. Pica talk with his high pitched voice again, and make all of them laugh. He get angry and send a giant punch again, but Chinjao and Elizabello break it.

"Damn, can't the ride be less bumpy? I'm trying to lockpicking here."-Jon

"Can you really lockpick a seastone handcuff?"-Law

"Huh? You doubt my skill? There's no lock that i can't pick, even if it made of seastone. No lock mechanism can escape from my eyes."-Jon

Jon is concentrating on his job to take off Law's handcuff. Every lock have different mechanism, and seastone handcuff seem to have more. It will not be used on strong individuals if it did not have special mechanism.

While Jon do his job, the others also keep running toward the castle. Pica regrow his shattered arm and punch them again. So they decide to climb Pica's other stone hand.

Many Donquixote pirates come to attack them, so they split. The gladiators stop to fight the enemies, while the ones riding the bull keep going. Jeet & Abdullah didn't get down and keep riding the bull with them.

They ride the bull and go rather far on the stone hand. Pica try to punch the ones climbing his hand, but Luffy use his Elephant Gun to shatter Pica's stone head. It stop the giant stone, and they keep climbing up.

Pica finally decide to stop them himself and show up in front of them. He show up in his real body that shapaed like he put spikes inside his shoulder. Then he pull out a very big katana and attack them.

Jon ignore Pica, and Luffy get down then jump with the bull to avoid Pica's attack. Luffy is still laughing at Pica's voice, and Jon try to hold his laugh because he need to concentrate. Pica try to attack them from behind, but it was blocked by Zoro.

"I leave it to you."-Luffy

"Yeah, leave it to me."-Zoro

"AMAZING!!"-Jeet & Abdullah

Zoro block Pica's attack and the others keep going to the castle. Jon finally finished his job and open Law's handcuff.

"Job's done, no need to pay me, it's alliance service."-Jon

"AMAZING!! He can really open a seastone handcuff."-Jeet & Abdullah

"Thanks."-Law

"Don't mind it, i just do the captain's order."-Jon

Jon suddenly see something from the corner of his eyes. He see a shadow and try to look at it. He smirk and see Burgess is hiding behind a ruin. It seem he is spying on them, and Jon know he must've targeting Luffy & Law's devil fruit.

"Luffy, there's a pest spying at us, i'll take care of it."-Jon

"Pest?"-Luffy is confused

"Sigh, it's an enemy, i'll stop him. You just go and defeat that Flamingo."-Jon

"Leave it to me, you go and do what you like!"-Luffy

"Aye aye, Captain."-Jon grin

Jon jump and make a Rasenshuriken, then he throw it at Burgess. The big dude get surprised and try to avoid it, but the attack explode and fling him away. Jon then flicker down and heal his right hand.

Rasenshuriken is a dangerous jutsu that harm one's arm bones. That's why Naruto start to use it only in Sage Mode where he will get healed. But Jon can heal himself, and his regeneration power is strong, so he's not worried.

"Yo Burgess, you look like a stalker hiding in that place. It's creepy."-Jon

"Wiihahaha, i never thought that you will come here yourself. Your mysterious devil fruit will be mine after this, Wiihahaha."-Burgess

'Devil fruit? Ah, did he thought my ninjutsu is devil fruit power? So he's also targetting me.'-Jon

Jon is surprised to know that Burgess is also targetting him. Well, his power seem to be from devil fruit, because it is what usually is. Jon also never told people that he's not close with that he is not a devil fruit user, because it's useless.

"Hmm, you want to steal our devil fruit right? I don't know how you guys do it, but it must be Teach's power."-Jon

"We will get every strong devil fruit, and yours is on the list. Devon also seem to hate you and want you alive."-Burgess

"Ooh, that old woman must be very mad because i remove her power."-Jon

"How did you do it? How did you steal Devon's devil fruit?"-Burgess

"Last time i checked, that's none of your business."-Jon

Jon say his last line while activating his mangekyou. Then he cut the space between them and kick Burgess away. He's not about to talk any shit again with that guy. There's no use on it, and he see Burgess is preparing a dagger behind.

Burgess get up and then swing his arm toward Jon. The swing create a strong flying attack, and Jon flicker away to avoid that. It cut through some buildings behind Jon.

Burgess run toward Jon while vibrating his right arm. Jon know this technique because he just copy it in Colosseum before. Jon smrik and put both of his arm on his sides in a fist form. Jon coat his fists with armament and chakra.

"Shockwave Elbow!"-Burgess

"Rokuogan!"-Jon

Jon send his two fist together to do Rokuogan and meet Burgess's attack. He can do Rokuogan since he master his Rokushiki to some high degree.

Rokuogan use all of Rokushiki techniques at once. So he get the glimpse of it after he succeed to use Tekkai while moving. Now Jon can use tekkai to defend or attack, and use it with haki sometime.

Jon's Rokuogan and Burgess's Shockwave elbow seem to be even. Both of them got fling behind because of the collision. Jon click his tongue because he failed to defeat that attack with normal power.

'If Sabo is the one who fight, he will destroy that elbow rather easily. Damn, i'm still not strong enough.'-Jon

Jon have spar with Sabo many times, so he know how strong Sabo is. He will take that elbow easily and only need some effort. So Jon knew he need more training and get stronger.

Jon & Burgess then continue to fight with normal attacks. Jon now didn't try to meet Burgess's attacks with his attacks. That is not his style, because he prefer dodging or redirecting the attacks.

Jon use his sharingan & observation haki to the max. He dodge attacks and hit Burgess in weak spot. Jon mostly use earth chakra to punch, because it give more damage with blunt attacks such as punch.

'I can't keep fighting like this, his durability is high. He won't get defeated soon, but i need to finish this soon. I guess i will use that strategy, he doesn't seem smart afterall, so it will work.'-Jon plan something

Sometime later, Jon see a small thing flying up to the sky. It explode and propel another thing up. Then it explode again and something shoot out horizontally. It fly toward the castle and Jon is dumbfounded when he realize what that is.

"Is that a sculpture of Usopp's head? Why did the eyes and tongue popping out?"-Jon sweatdrop at it

"You're distracted!"-Burgess

Burgess stab Jon, but it turn out to be a wood clone. The wood clone suddenly turn into a wood binding that tied Burgess. Jon then emerged from the ground while controlling the wood bind.

"If you want to do a sneak attack, just stab, no need to warn the target."-Jon

"Damn, what is this?"-Burgess try to struggle and some crack appear

"As i thought, normal binding jutsu will not work. Then, how about this?"-Jon

Burgess struggle, and Jon activate his Yin Seal. Then he make some hand for his planned jutsu.

"Mokuton: Deep Plants Emergence!"-Jon

Trees sprout from the ground at a very fast speed. Jon control them to catch and bind Burgess. This jutsu is the smaller scale version of Hashirama's Deep Forest Emergence, as it only grow some trees, and it use less chakra.

Now Burgess can't move, he try to break the trees by vibrating his hand, but the trees just regenerate. Jon approach Burgess and make some hand seals.

"Fuinjutsu: Chakra Draining Seal!"-Jon

Jon put his hand on Burgess forehead, because it's just the head that is outside the trees. Seal marks spreading on Burgess's head and the trees. Jon has prepared this seal in case he need it, and he decide to use it now.

It is a seal to absorb one's chakra and transfer it to the user that is used by Kabuto. Kabuto use it on Anko to absorb Orochimaru's remaining chakra. Jon now use it to absorb Burgess's chakra, and regain some chakra for himself.

It take sometime, before Burgess's chakra is almost drained completely. Burgess faint and Jon didn't kill him because he need him alive. But Jon put a seal to make him unable to move. Then Jon cover Burgess's head with trees, and only left enough room to breath.

"He is strong, that's for sure, but he is not smart. I wonder how is Luffy's fight with Doflamimgo."-Jon

"Master."-Zetsu #1

"Oh #1, you've come back. How's the task?"-Jon

"We have find a way out, but it's very deep. The strings reach very deep down, so we can't bring the snails."-Zetsu

"Can you bring a scroll?"-Jon

"Yes, scroll is non-living thing, so we can bring it easily."-Zetsu #1

Jon then make a summoning scroll set to be used by the Zetsus. It's like the seal used by Frog elder to summon Naruto's shadow clone. Zetsu #1 leave and do his task that will create chaos around the world.

Jon then create a seal barrier that will prevent anyone to free Burgess. Jon also left a clone to make sure Burgess can't get free. Burgess is very crucial for Jon's plan, and will make the crew's future problem solved easily.

Jon leave to assist Luffy, because he know the enemy up there is not only Doflamingo. Jon run and climb the hill to the castle. There are some levels before he can reach the castle, and many enemies are waiting on each level.

No wonder Doflamingo call this a game, because it looks similar. Like the enemies that keep getting stronger the higher he climb. Jon didn't have time for these weak enemies that just hindering his way up.

Jon take out his Gunbai to swept away everyone that try to stop him. He hasn't use this Gunbai in a real war for some months. He just use wind attacks to send the enemies flying.

Sometime later, he reach level 2 and meet someone annoying. Jon meet Dellinger again and he have trashed some gladiator. Dellinger see Jon and get angry because Jon has kicked his face earlier.

Dellinger has grown his fangs to be longer and sharper. Dellinger is a half fishman, and he can grow his fangs if he need it. Jon didn't want to waste his time, but this guy will be a problem if he is not defeated.

Dellinger run to attack him, and Jon can see Dellinger is trained in leg like Sanji. He can see from Dellinger's trained leg muscle and move. Jon decide to test his legs move by fighting this leg fighter.

Dellinger send an attack with his right leg, and Jon also did the same. Jon cover his leg in haki & use tekkai, but Dellinger didn't use haki. Jon thought that maybe he can't use it yet, or just too proud of his hybrid-fishman's body power.

Even without haki, Dellinger's leg is very hard by itself. Still, that's not enough to defeat Jon, and Jon's attack overwhelm him, and he scream in pain. Dellinger's leg get hurt, and Jon is very disapointed at his opponent.

"You're not even close to Sanji in leg power, go train some more!"-Jon
