1 The Shining Star Is My Guide

- My mom told me that if i saw a shooting star I could make a wish, and the wish would come true. "Lies", it was all a lie, I always wished that mom would get better, I wished that she would stay with me forever, I wished that we could be happy like we used to be, but my wish never "came true".

(In a low voice)

- "Alena" promise me that you'll take care of yourself when I'm " gone", mom "shh" promise me Alena... mom, mom don't leave me mom, mom " wake up"... please, please mom don't leave me.

"Sobbing"

- I promise mom, but please don't leave me..don't leave me, your the only one I have...

Please mom, wake up...

Alena eventually fell asleep from crying on the "short bright-green grass", wishing that what just happen wasn't real, hoping that when she wakes up, everything was just a dream.

The morning came , Alena woke up hoping that it was all a bad dream... but it wasn't.

Alena buried her mother on a "Flower field" that her mother loved to go.

- I still can't believed you left me mom. But I hope your in a better place. Don't worry mom I'll take care of myself "I promise".

- I love you mom and always will. How I wished I could stay here with you mom, but I can't. Bye mom I'll come visit you one day.

With tears in her eyes Alena left. She knew it was dangerous for her to stay there. She packed a bag with some money, clothes, and food that would last three days.

- I'm alone in this world I can't trust anyone. I new to find a "somewhere that is safe.

Alena left the house where she had lived for the past "15years"

- I'm sorry mom, I sorry that I couldn't protect you... I was the cause of your "death after all". You tried to protect me and got seriously injured, I'm sorry mom. It was all my fault for leaving you alone.

- You took care of me and loved me, you didn't abandon me because I was different.

When I was born I looked just like a normal child. But when I started getting older I began to act and "look strange". I was only "2 years old" I didn't understand what was happening.

- And now you are dead because of me.

Alena walk for hours until dark. She reached a River and decided to stay they for the night and continue tomorrow. She didn't have a destination she only knew that she couldn't stay there for long. She had to restart a new life without her mother by her side. The only person that knew she had ever known.

"Sigh"

- Mom I miss you so much. Why,did you have to go. Why do I have to be "different", WHY!! why, can't I be a normal person, why?

Tired from what had happened "Alena" fell asleep. Dreaming about her mother.

Feeling the warm light from the Sun on her face Alena woke up

- Mom always called me her "Shining Star" she said that I was what gave her life and that she would always protect me from any danger even if she had to die.

- Don't worry mom I'll take revenge, I'm going to "Kill" The one who did this to you "I promise".
