It was a quiet ride back to the Rhodes mansion.

Kane, Caitlin and Auryn had also gone home after staying several hours at the hospital. Miles was taken home by his driver. Everyone was exhausted, and they had to take off their party dresses that had been stained with blood, sweat and dirt.

Celina was quiet throughout the ride, very quiet. She looked through the window, watching the city go by as the car rode on the highway at moderate speed. Her mother stared at her sadly and slowly reached for her hand. She held it gently and Celina turned to look at her. Her eyes were so full of sadness and remorse.

Mrs Eloise slowly pulled her into her arm and allowed her to rest her head on her shoulder, patting her gently.

Caitlin had showered and sat on the bed, lost in thoughts. Her face was full of sadness as she remembered the heart wrenching scene of her son badly wounded and dying.
