36 The End is Near

Hoseki vigorously mumbled through the sticky substance, that has now engulfed itself Hoseki.

Hoseki "Asuta!" He screams through the substance. "Don't walk away from me. I know where to find you. I always find you. You know this."

Fourth confronts Hoseki, as he directly makes eye contact with Hoseki. He looks him up and down, a small smirk on his face appears to change into a billowing smile. "You won't get out of this trap for a while and by the time you do make it out. We will be long gone. Out of your reach and out of your sight." He then turns his back to towards Hoseki and walks away. "Come Austa. Let us go."

Austa "Wait. I have something I want to say. Actually I need to say to him. Go on without me I will catch up."

Fourth "Are you sure? I can just wait here."

Asusta waves her hand as to shoo Fourth away. " I will be fine, there's nothing he can do to me in there."

Fourth wait there for a few seconds before heading out towards the long corridor.

Asusta, trying to compose herself together in front of the man, the monster, her brother. Who has put her through so much torture; emotional and physical. Tries to find the right words to say to Hoseki, but everything she had come up with wasn't enough to portray the immense anger she had felt towards Hoseki. Finally, she began to spoke.

Asusta "I've longed for this moment here. To finally see you helpless as you have made me feel all these years. If I'm being honest... I wish more could happen. But I will never take that action, I will never have your blood on my hands, Cause the death I wish for you would not bring me the happiness I need. I have decided instead to wish for something different. Now I wish you the loneliness and the pain you have given me all this time. I want you to know how it feels to feel like you are worthless, to know that in this world you are alone and you will have no one. Remember that when the spells fade out. You Hoseki have no one."

Asuta leaves her brother taking one final look back at what she had finally gotten the chance to leave all behind. And then she takes her last step through the corridor. She could hear Hoseki muffled yelling right before the corridor doors slam shut with a loud clanking noise.

Asusta " I thought I told you to go on ahead without me. Did I not tell you I was going to be fine?" She curiously looks at Fourth.

Fourth leaning against the wall with his one foot pressed up to it glances over at Asusta. Fourth " You did. But I felt better waiting just in case."

Asuta "So you doubt my magic?"

Fourth jumps up and stands in front of Asuta who has this stern and unpleasant look upon her face. "It is not like that!" He says as his voice raises from his normal tone. " I just mean that... well... You see it's like..." Before Fourth could finish the last of his sentence Asuta abruptly interrupts him. Before he could make a fool of himself anymore.

Asuta " Fourth I was only joking about the whole thing. Thank you for waiting outside, truly I mean it. " She pats Fourth on the shoulder and gives him a glowing smile as she walks past him, heading back the way they had all came.

Fourth "If she hadn't stopped me mid-sentence. I might have... no, its nothing. This means nothing. It's being trapped in here, yes that's what it is. Nothing more nothing less..."

Asuta yells back towards Fourth who just stood there motionless in the same spot. " Are you coming or do you plan on staying there till Hoseki is free?"

Fourth shakes his head as if coming out of a deep slumber and finally waking himself up. " No I'm coming" He rushes towards Asuta stopping and putting his hands atop of his knees to catch his breath. He breathes heavily for a few seconds, taking a deep breath in and releasing, just to repeat for a couple more seconds.

Asuta " Are you okay there?"

Fourth in between his deep breathing, manages to stutter a few words out. " I... you... you were so far ahead, I thought I never would catch up to you. "

To Fourths amazement, she lets out a peal of loud laughter. Holding her sides tightly as her face turns bright red and a smile forms on her face.

Fourth " What have I done? " He thinks calmly to himself and with a tad of confusion.

Asuta still laughing but eventually residing down goes to Fourth " I apologize, I think it is just finally hit me. That this is all over. I am finally free from Him. "

Fourth " There's no need to apologize. You have, no you are extremely brave in this. Without your help during all of this, we wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be well anywhere. I give you my thanks. Though during these times it is not much to offer you. "

Asuta " No. your thanks is enough for me Fourth."

They both stood there for a brief moment smiling at one another until one of them had broken the silence.

Fourth " Well we should get going again... I need to find my friends. "

Asuta " Yes, your friends must be looking for you. "

Fourth " If I know Raion... he's probably bothering Baskia right now. " He says annoyingly rolling his eyes. "So any ideas on how we are going to get out of here? We still have to deal with Kiken, Naifu, and that big loaf.. what was his name again? Tiki? Toka? Something with a T." He scratches his head as if he was trying to recall the name.

Asuta " Tako, his name was Tako... And any minute he will be waiting for Hoseki arrival."

Fourth "That's right.. he's the one who is supposed to do the ritual on me?"

Asuta "Yes he is."

Asuta and Fourth just stood there neither one of them saying a word after that.
