7 Chapter Seven

Alexander's POV

While Dani was taking a shower, I decided to look up some of the music Dani listens to. I looked up Pierce the Veil.

The lead singer is Victor Fuentes - from what I read. I decided to listen to this song called A match into water.

I kissed the scars on her skin. I still think you're beautiful and I don't ever wanna lose my best friend.

Once I finished listening to the song, I played another, then another. I don't see how they think this is devil worshipping music. It is basically saying don't cut yourself and that you are beautiful and apparently this song was written because the singer's girlfriend had cancer - that's deep man. Other songs he wrote had meaning like this.

I heard Dani come out of the shower, making me smile as Dani chirped to me," Come on little boy go and go take a shower." I announced annoyed," I am not a little boy. I am a man."

Danielle's POV

Man? Please, you never will be in my opinion," Sure. Now go get your little ass in the shower. The sooner you go the sooner we can go shopping!" I am going to Hot Topic - no matter if he likes it or not! It's my store.

He shouted after I smacked him straight with a pillow," Dang woman! You sure like shopping don't you?" I answered sarcastically," Yes. NOW GET IN THE FUCKING SHOWER!"

He winced a little. Wait, isn't he supposed to be the big bad alpha? I guess it is my Luna's voice. I remember reading in the book somewhere.

The Alpha is the leader of the pack - the Luna is his mate. She rules right by the alpha's side...The alpha can use their alpha voice to invoke commands, so can the Luna, The alpha voice can be used to command people to do something - it is often a very powerful tool.

Alex looked angry; he raised his hand up and I winced out of habit - fearing he'd hit me. He ran his hand through his hair as he was about to say something. It was like his anger just vanished the second I winced. Before he could say anything I ran into the bathroom and locked the door.

Why can't I do anything right? Because you're better off dead sweetheart, I already told you that. They were right, everything they said was right. You are a murderer and for that, you deserve to die. You deserve the most horrible -

Shut up! It's not true, it's not. But darling it is. Sighing my body sank to the floor, grabbing my shiny victory and letting my body move on its own. There's no hope now, I'm forever trapped. Forever hearing its voice over and over.

Sighing, I put the blade on my forearm, maybe the voice is right - I don't belong here. They were right about me, I'm just some murderer and I deserve to die for it.

Alexander's POV

" DANIELLE BLAKE OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!" I heard something break, " Danielle please I am sorry for yelling but you gotta open the door. "

At that moment I smelt blood - my mate's blood. I broke down the door the find Danielle on her floor with blood all over her arms.

Save mate! Save mate!

I used the pack link to alert the pack doctor.

Ron! I found my mate! She is hurt!

I will have a bed waiting for her when she gets here Alpha. Bring her quickly.

I picked up Danielle's body and ran out of the room. I yelled at her," Danielle stay with me! Fight it you have to stay with me!"

Dani whispered," I love you, Alexander. I just can't take it anymore, it won't leave me alone. " I had tears running down my face. I had just found my mate - I can't lose her!

Save her!

As we got to the hospital, Ron announced quickly," Alpha you need to leave the room." I growled out no making Ron sigh," Fine just stay across the room for I can do my job. "

He looked at her arms. After a while of him cleaning her wounds, he said," She should be fine Alpha. She lost a lot of blood. The Luna just needs lots of rest. The might be more comfortable in her own bed though. Also Alpha, I prescribed her some antidepressants, it should help. "

Mate Ok?

Yes, Javier, mate ok. Nodding I picked my princess up - Danielle was verily awake. I said to her softly," I love you, Danielle. Please don't ever try that again, princess, I need you - I need you baby. I don't think I could ever live without you."

I smiled lightly as she snuggled closer to me unconsciously but still. I placed her on the bed and wrapped my arms around her, spooning her. soon sleep found me as I took a deep breath of my mate's scent.

Mate loves us too, mate loves us too.
