ONE WISH

Jin-Ho was still shocked by the scene that unfolded in front of his eyes, and could stop himself from puking all his guts. Mean while Jae-Hyuk was looting the corpses of the dead hunters and he stored the loots one at a time in his inventory. After about one minute, Jae-Hyuk had finished with the corpses, and he stood up and stared at Jin-Ho.

'That guy is too soft for this line of work... Anyway, I have a lot of works to do and it's getting late... By the time, I finished looting the essence stones from the monsters entangled in Buryura's webs outside of the lair, he should have gotten back to his sense by then.'

Jae-Hyuk summoned his Knight killer and swung the dagger in his right hand at an astonishing speed. Knight killer cut through the grey carapace of the Giant Arachnid Buryura with great ease and beheaded the giant arachnid.

He searched the corpses for a few seconds before he found ten high-quality C-rank essence stones and stored them one at a time before both him and Jin-Ho proceeded to exit the dungeon.

As soon as they exited the dungeon, the gate leading to the dungeon disappeared as a proof of the successful clearing of the dungeon. Jae-Hyuk contacted the Korean Hunter Association and he discussed with Jin-Ho about how to handle this situation.

Thirty minutes after the call, a black SUV arrived at the entrance of the construction site, where the two low rank hunters were waiting. Two inspectors who were wearing their trade-mark black suit, got out of the car and walked towards Jin-Ho and Jae-Hyuk. One of them was a average height woman with cheek-length, straight hair and wearing circular glasses, while the other was a taller man with spiky, short black-coloured hair.

" Good afternoon... I assume that you are Hunter Jin-Ho and Jae-Hyuk, right." The female inspector said as she showed his card to those two.

"Yeah! Ma'am!.."

"Yes!"

"Good.... My partner will go confirm the state of the gate... It will not take long, so just way for a few minutes."

Her eyes met with the eyes of the male inspector and he then nodded at her before the male inspector dashed in the direction leading to the previous location of the dungeon's gate. It only took the latter about five minutes to get back and once again, made eye-contact with the woman. This time, it was the turn of the woman to nod his head and afterwards, she cleared her throat.

"Hunter Jae-Hyuk... You will go with my colleague and he will take your statements.... You, Hunter Jin-Ho will stay here with me...." She said as she took out a notepad and a pen from her pocket. Jae-Hyuk followed the male Inspector and stood to face each other about ten meters from his previous location.

"Can you tell me more about the events that occurred in that C-rank dungeon... Also how the party managed to clear this dungeon?"

"The interior of the dungeon was maze-like system of tunnels and there were several hundreds of insect-type magic beasts that are sensitive to light, which lived inside the dungeon. We killed a few hundreds of monsters as we moved through the tunnels, but we ended at several dead-ends in the process.

I took us more than eight hours to reach the lair of the Boss Monster. There, we were welcomed by the Giant Arachnid Buryura, and a fierce battle started between the party and the monster... Please, note that Hunter Jae-Hyuk was only the porter and was ordered to not participate in the battle by Leader Dong-Seok ... The monster was more cunning and resistant than the leader expected, as it took our attacks head on without taking too much damaged, and spited a greenish acidic liquid at us.

Furthermore, the lair was filled with the monster's sticky and elastic webs which restricted our range of movements, while it had the opposite effect for the spider. We managed to fatally wound the monster at very heavy cost... The only reason that I am current unharmed because I wore these very expensive equipment and my trump card.

I had a high level recovery potion with me at that time and I used it to heal that I received at belly by the monster. The party members didn't have that chance and died due to being heavily wounded. Being mentally exhausted, I ordered Hunter Jae-Hyuk to abandon the two bags that he was carrying and to exit the dungeon with me before it closed... That all what happened inside the dungeon."

"Okay... Thanks Hunter Jin-Ho... It seems that my colleague has also finished over there... I will regroup with my colleague and compile all the information that we received before I come back to you.

The two inspectors took five minutes to discuss before come back to Jae-Hyuk and Jin-Ho. The two inspectors concluded that they told the truth after their discussions. they also took into consideration that the party had no healer, and concluded that the incident was due to the raid party being too unprepared for the raid. Afterwards they bid their farewell to two hunters and headed to the Korean Hunter Association in their SUV.

"Everything ended well... FWUUUHHH!!!! "

"When I told you that I had prepared for everything... Did you thought that I was lying... Anyway, we obtained about one billion worth of mana crystals and one billion worth of essence stones... So, I will divide it equally..."

Jae-Hyuk summoned and empty backpack from his inventory. He unzipped the backpack and placed his right hand inside of it for least than a minute. Then, he threw it at Jin-Ho.

"This is your share... All of the essence stones are inside of this back pack... Also if you don't mind, I would like to make a deal with you... Are you interested?"

"Yeah! Speak right away, Brother Jae-Hyuk..."

"I want you to gave me your long sword... I know that it worth more that one billion won, so how about I grant one of your wishes... It is not a bad deal at all for you as having a powerful hunter like me granting you any one wish is not heard of... Also, I didn't even display half of my abilities or real strength... What do say Jin-Ho?."

"hmmmm! Okay, Brother Jae-Hyuk... I will trust you on this, but please don't regret it when I claim my prize...."

"I will never regret it, that I'm sure as I believe in you."
