Level 15

Sitting on a giant tree branch in the VR game was really nice he felt actual warmth. But something just didn't sit right. Everything was a bit to perfect, his sword was OP he has all the gold he needs for basically anything. Everyone's mostly peaceful and those that provoked conflict caught themselves before the fighting starts. Everything gives a lot of exp and loot drops are always nice. It was like the game itself was being nice to him and only him. From the field boss in the jungle he got two level ups while others the same level didn't get even one level up and he just distracted the boss the whole time. Was it a trick or was someone pulling his leg.

Sitting upright he scanned the forest floor looking to see if the field boss had respawned. The boss still layed across the floor with his limbs everywhere his arm was impaled by a tree branch. The legs were flung against boulders. He hadn't meant to but he may have done so much damage that the boss was still taking damage while dead. That would also explain him still gaining exp while just sitting. He jumped off the branch crouching next ot the slump dead body of the boss. The head was missing which was no surprise because he had sliced it off for killing a party member. Sighing he got up and walked out of the forest with loot for his party soon to be guild.

While he was off farming the boss his party members were building their small guild hall. It was in a flat open area which they bought with a whopping 368 gold. He had to kill so many minions and bosses just to get the gold. When he returned to the hall. It was all polished and complete. To make some gold the hall was behind a strange looking cafe they named Yun's Cafe because their main builders name was Yun. In the cafe was the entire party feasting on pastries the cafe npc's baked. Some were drinking their 5th or 20th cup of coffee clearly in a tired state from all the building. He dropped into the crowd awarding everyone with 50 gold. He also noticed he was still gaining exp from the boss. Sitting down at the counter sipping some coffee was an Assassin class player whose name was taggs because of his ability. They chatted about how things were going the Assassin was a moderator who liked that their party wasn't slaying everything in sight and decided to drop in and watch them. He talked to the mod about how he was still gaining exp and the mod only chuckled and respond 'there are glitches and intentional glitches everywhere" than he logged off. Sitting alone he turned around and watched the party. He smiled thinking back to when there were only two players in his party. They saw his strength and joined him they encouraged others to join now he had around 50 players in his party.

He went to the hidden trap door under the counter everyone not noticing watched him disappear. He climbed down the ladder heading down into what looked like a sewer pipe. He got down fairly quickly next to the bottom of the ladder was a switch. He flicked it on with a bright flash the sewer became a room brightened by nothing but computer screens. In real life he's a graduate that found himself a tech workers job. He fixed a lot of computers made some from scratch for others for the same price as buying one from best buys. He had searched many places for metals of all kings. His teammates were mostly mages so they helped him build chips for computers with focused fire beams, welding like magic and much more. He had managed to connect the computers in game to google and other search engines in real life. He did a quick search on the glitch because it was like using hacks and he didn't like being a cheater. He believed in honest work not some cheap cheats. He found many articles about similar glitches but all of them ended in a few minutes. His was going on for much longer than a few minutes he was lvl 15 before and now he was lvl17. He got off the screen when he felt like someone was staring at him. He turned around and there on the ladder was their best healer a girl named Matrix. He wasn't all too surprised because everyone knew the existence of this room but no used it except him. Matrix was the first to speak"So this is where you do all your minding your own business…" She strolled to where he was sitting and pulled up her own seat. She was just staring at all the screens connected to one another forming a giant tv screen. She snatched the keyboard from him and started rapidly typing. When he looked up at the screens he realized what she was doing. She wasn't searching up anything she was re-writing the search engines script. When she stopped typing lines of codes were just running down the screen. She looked at the screen seemingly very satisfied. She stretched her arms than place the keyboard onto the desk. She walked away and halted when he asked "What did you do?" She turned around and gave him a face saying you dumby. She launched into a long explanation of how that coding was amplifier for the search engines. The computer now worked much faster which seemed impossible. He stood up walked over to her and pushed her back into her seat demanding that he gets a better explanation. She gave thesame explanation again but gave him a dull face like bro I cant help you, your mind is too stupid.He let her go and went back to doing research on this "Purposeful" glitch. Feeling someone staring at him again he turned around in his chair. He was being stalked a lot today he thought to himself. Matrix was standing there just staring into nothingness he got up and waved his hand in front of her eyes. Not even flinching he made himself look like he was gonna slap her, which made her jump backwards reflexively. She logged off just before he was going to ask what she was doing down here again. Welp he said to himself he opened his settings and logged off back into reality.
