13 The Logical Way

I headed up towards the door and kept pressing my thumb on the doorbell. “MARK! I WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING JUST LET ME IN, PLEASE!” After a brief moment of pause, the door opens up. Nervously smiling at Mark I walk in as he bonks me on the way.

Taking a seat in the lounge I start by explaining everything I had gone through this weird day. Should I tell him the truth? The truth. Would it be any good to hide it? He’ll just get more suspicious for the next time so I’ll clear everything up for now. “Sooooooo Mark, yeah. I just went to get headphones and my friend went to the wrong address, that idiot. So he said just come over to his house and like, it was quite far. And yeah I couldn’t attend the calls cause I was on the way and everything, sorryyyyyy. Oh well, at least now I have my headphones.” Yes. That wasn’t the least bit true.
