1 chapter 1: I fight a gorgon in central park

Percy pov:

you'd think after saving the Olympians twice now I'll get a pass from a search quest , but nnooo apparently if a monster I slew came back from Tartarus then I have to go and make sure it is back there (according to uncle Zeus that is) we were alerted to Central Park New York where all three gorgons were, Medusa was there in her aunt M outfit but the other gorgons were in full Munster appearance.

They had some sort of magical glowing stones in a circle and they pored blood in the centre (I didn't even wanted to think who or what blood it was belonged to ) they started chanting in ancient Greek but we couldn't really here what they were saying so Annabeth had to come closer. "what are they saying?" I asked Annabeth from my spot behind her "it's hard to make out but I think I heard them mention Cronos." Annabeth said.

"Cronos?! are you sure?" I asked as I was pulling riptide out of my pocket reedy to turn it in to a sword at a moment's notice, (yeah I know paranoid much? but you would be too if Cronos was your power hungry grandfather that you barely defeated in order to save the world and I mean barely, we got really lucky that time) "Yeah Percy I am very sure" Annabeth said to me "but the gods said that he will probably will never regain consciousness after what we did to him at the second titans war." I said with anxious voice

"I don't think that he did regain any consciousness" Nico said as he appeared out of the shadows "otherwise I would have felt something in the underworld" he said trying to reassure us. even though we knew he was there it still startled me just a bit.

"so what are they up to?" I asked Nico "I don't really know, it looks like a summoning ritual bot it can't be what I think it is because this type of summoning requires a fully formed consciousness if it's to be summoned Nico said "so what exactly are they doing?" hazel voiced the question that was "on everyone's minds. "I don't know." Thalia said "but we're going to find out."

" Thalia wait!" Jason called out to his sister but it was to late she was already out of the bushes where we hid. the gorgons noticed her and the snakes on their heads hissed at Thalia's direction and we had to step in to save her ass so pretty soon all seven chosen ones including Nico and Thalia were out of hiding and Nico asked them "what is it that you planned to summon? Cronos haven't regain his full canciones yet if at all so what are you planning to do?"

it was medusa that said "who said that this Cronos is the only one in existence? their is a whole lot more Cronoses out there that we could choose from." she said as her two gorgon sisters laughed. "and what in hades does that supposed to mean?" piper asked the gorgon but she just laughed with her sisters "nothing good" Leo said reedy to light them on fire ,Frank said "on my mark are you reedy?" we all drew out our weapons nodding towards him "charge!"

he called out and all of us ran towards the circle got gorgons wore already on the defensive while medusa sped up the incantation we killed the two gorgon sisters but then the magic stones started to glow brighter and brighter "oh no you won't!" I yelled at medusa as I threw anaklusmos at one of the stones breaking it in half "nooo!! what have you done?!" medusa yelled as a glowing bright light engulfed us all and then the next thing I remember was that I woke up in central park after I don't know how long but I must have hit my head pretty hard cause I swear I saw superman and wonder women as soon as I opened my eyes
