8 Bow Down!

Helkep shook his head, thinking he was losing his mind, and returned to his home after taking a stroll around the miniature forest.

Reaching his room, he forced himself to sleep again.

Though he woke up very quickly. The first thing he did after freshening-up was to depart for his academy. He didn't even bother to leave a note.

There was a portal in his house but he ignored it like it wasn't even there.

Currently he was walking towards a DC shop. In his walk the one thing he said to himself was, 'There is no-body behind me, right?'.

(NOTE: DC stands for Destination Centre.)

He was still feeling as if someone was spying on him...at an extremely close distance at that.

After reaching the DC shop he payed the payment and teleported to his academy.

_ _ _

Great Joul Academy

A portal flashed and walked out a boy with pitch-black hair and golden eyes, of-course Helkep.

The portals were located inside a single large hall, instead of an individual room for each portal.

There were thousands of portals neatly arranged inside the hall. Helkep walked out of the hall, and the academy's courtyard greeted him.

Many students were walking around...that you shouldn't think. It was 4:00-o-clock when Helkep had woken up and it was 4:30 when he reached his academy. Hence, only a few students were seen walking by occasionally.

Helkep decided to go to his dorm room. It wasn't because he was missing it but because the classes only started from 8:00-o-clock.

The distance between the portal hall and the dormitories wasn't much, he reached it in 5 minutes. The dormitory was quite large...very large. It was made to house 1000 students and there wasn't only just one either.

Walking up to the third floor of the dormitory, he soon reached his room, a thought appeared inside his mind, 'After one month of freedom...I guess the hell start's again...Sigh!'

Opening the door, the first thing that entered his sight was the living room.

Connected to the living room were five rooms, out of which three were bedrooms, one was the kitchen and the last was the washroom.

Helkep walked towards his room, opening the door a horrible stench entered his nose. Looking inside he saw all kinds of wrappers and garbage thrown inside his room.

He walked inside and saw the horrible state his room was in. Dirty clothes, food wrappers, snacks, all kinds of things were thrown inside his room.

Then his sight fell on his bedsheet, which was filled stains, which reeked of...very unique body fluids.

Helkep couldn't help but sigh at the thought of how his room was used for, and feel glad that he had came early, now at least he could clean his room.

And without wasting time, he got straight to the cleaning. He was thinking what to do with his bedsheet...in the end he decided to throw it in the garbage.

Time passed and his roommates walked up and started doing their things. Helkep tried to be as quiet as possible so he didn't catch their attention.

Eventually it was 8:00-o-clock, his roommates left for their classes, after waiting for sometime so he didn't bump into them, he also left for his first class in a month.

On the academy's courtyard, all lot of students were walking-by...that you shouldn't think. Helkep's dormmates had left quiet late and the additional time taken by Helkep, resulted in him once again be one of the rare people walking on the academy's courtyard.

Helkep's first class was about monster species, a class which he didn't need to attend.

Being unable to level up, Helkep could only study in his extra time...which was the whole day.

If there was a competition between him and his teacher, he would absolutely decimate his teacher.

He slowly walked towards his classroom. Not minding if he was a bit late...very late.

It wasn't that he was being arrogant, he just felt suffocated in the presence of...geniuses.

When there was only half an hour left before the class ended, he finally arrived. Opening the door he walked in calmly and went towards a seat on the back which was empty on its sides as well.

The way he had just simply walked inside, had left the whole class dumbfounded. The class wasn't even expecting him to be currently present in the academy, more likely for him to come inside like he owned the place.

After taking a moment to calm herself the teacher said, "Helkep, when did you comeback? No wait why are you so late?" The teacher was a red-haired female in her 30s. She was a beauty, and the reason all the front seats were filled and the last seats empty.

"I came back last night. As per the reason why I am late...I was interrupted by something." Helkep truly knew how to speak a lie, he had given a reason on which the teacher couldn't argue with him.

The excuse was special for Helkep.

"...Okay. But...Sigh! Okay." The teacher could only shake her head and continue her lesson.

Helkep payed attention to the lesson even though he knew which monster the teacher was telling about.

While the lesson continued, the eyes of some students had diverted from the teacher and was now fixed on Helkep, they were looking at him like the most valuable treasure.

Helkep had noticed their stares and could only sigh on the thought of what was about to happen. The lesson soon ended. The students started asking questions either relating to a monster or some gutsy boy finally confessing to the teacher, only to be rejected.

After another 8 minutes the teacher finally left and so did the rest of the students.

Helkep waited for some time to let the students go before he himself went out.

Helkep was in his mind when he accidentally bumped into someone.

To not let the matter end up the wrong way he immediately apologised, "I am sorry!"

Though it seemed as if his apology wasn't needed.

"Yo Helkep, been a long time, hasn't it? I bet you missed your buddy so much." A boy with pink hair was smiling brightly at Helkep. He was behaving as if he had seen a friend which he didn't see for over a year.

"..."

"What? Are you not happy to see me? Your best bud!?" The boy looked as if he had been wronged. He made a pained expression as if someone had dropped his pizza.

The only think that Helkep could think was, 'I didn't expect it to happen right now. Sigh!'

"...It seems you are so happy to see me that you can't reply. Well no worries, come I will treat you to some nice food." The boy smiled brilliantly, placed his hand over Helkep's shoulder and dragged him with him.

"Which restaurant should we eat at?" The boy asked Helkep.

"..."

"I guess you are fine with my choice then. Ok I will take you to a special restaurant." A cold glint flashed in the boy's eyes.

'...Sigh!' Helkep knew what he meant by special restaurant.

The boy took Helkep to the resting area of the academy, which was like a big market.

The buildings were just like how a city would be.

The boy took him to a special restaurant...which was supposedly located inside an alley, according to him.

Helkep just went along knowing he couldn't resist the boy at all.

Inside the alley, the boy took his arm off of Helkep.

Motioning with his hand for Helkep to keep moving, the boy moved back a bit.

Blocking his path if Helkep tried to escape...oops, if Helkep suddenly didn't want to go to the special restaurant.

Walking further inside, the figure of a few boys could be seen.

There were seven boys in total including the pink-haired one.

The leader of the boys seemed to be a red-haired boy.

He walked forward and raised his hand towards Helkep for a handshake.

Helkep looked at the boy's hand but didn't raise his hand to repay the greeting.

"Is something the matter?" The red-haired boy asked in his quiet voice.

"..."

"...Do you, not recognise me?" The boy asked his voice a bit louder.

"..."

"Did someone rip your tongue out, Helkep?" A cold glint flashed in the boy's eyes.

"Have you gone...DEAF?" Anger was written all over the boy's face. His fist clenched, ready to pound someone.

"Boss let us beat some manners into him." One of the boy's lackeys said.

The boy's silence was enough of an answer for the lackeys.

The lackeys moved towards Helkep, cracking their fists and necks.

"Well then boy, our leader is a very honourable man. You shouldn't disgrace him by rejecting his handshake. Or ignoring him like that." One of the lackeys placed his hand on Helkep's shoulder as he said this.

"...So should I lick his boot for giving me a chance like this." Helkep asked with a tilted head.

"Yea you should do that." The lackey replied with a sarcastic smile.

"What a pathetic leader to only have dogs who can lick his boots." Helkep replied with sarcasm being the only thing that his tone contained.

"...YOU PATHETIC SHIT! BOW DOWN!" The red-haired boy flared up. His face red with anger.

He rushed towards Helkep, sending a punch towards him.

One punch was enough to send Helkep flying.

Bang! Splat! The punch sent Helkep crashing in to the wall. Blood spilled from his mouth.

A thought entered his mind, 'HaHa! Welcome the hell!'
