Endure, For I am Ashamed

In the morning when the Young Master woke up, the girl was long gone.

The Young Master was ashamed of what he did the night before, since he'd only done it in a moment of impulsiveness. It was his first time with a girl, and it was non-consensual. Trying to right what he did, he searched half a day for the girl. Using his connections, he managed to find her place of residence, an apartment in the name of her bar owner.

She'd been selling herself to him to get a "free" place to stay and a job at his bar.

When listening to his subordinate's report, the Young Master was shocked. Apparently, after going home for a night of fun, the bar owner discovered that the girl had attempted to commit suicide by hanging herself.

However, coincidentally, the bar owner had arrived in time just as the girl was tying up a noose. The bar owner beat her up severely for almost involving him in such a tiresome and scandalous affair, and kicked her off to the streets to die a dog's death.

The Young Master then found the girl wearing tattered clothes and bearing deep cuts. He felt really guilty when he saw her in such a state. Apparently, he had thought that she had resorted to suicide because he had raped her and taken away her innocence. He completely forgot about the fact that the girl had no hymen when he did her last night and the fact that she had been living with her bar owner, who had no familial relationship with her, for 5 months.

Apologizing repeatedly, he took her to a hotel. He nursed, fed, bathed and clothed her. She was very unemotional through it all, causing the guilt in his heart to increase.

He made the decision to abandon his family to take care of, and eventually marry, the girl.

The girl, knowing that she had no other choice or a place to stay, let him decide her fate. She couldn't attempt suicide again because she was under constant watch. She simply continued to live silent days at the hotel, while the Young Master paid her frequent visits more than five times each week. The girl eventually found out that she was pregnant, and instead of deciding to abort like she'd done numerous times before, she decided to keep her child. She thought that maybe this was what she was missing so far in her life.

Maybe this would make her happy.

Hearing that he was about to become a father, the Young Master panicked. His family elders also caught wind of the situation, placing the Young Master under 24/7 monitoring; he was hence forbidden from visiting the girl. Pulling a tantrum and almost bringing down the entire family, he managed to convince his elders to let him continue visiting and making love with the service girl on the premise that she remained an unofficial spouse, and all her children would be bastards, unable to inherit anything from the family; hence, no money from the Young Master's wallet was allowed to reach the girl's pockets.

In addition, the Young Master agreed to getting married that very year to the girl of the elders' choice and consummate his marriage with her immediately after.

Feeling that he had truly wronged the service girl by making her an unofficial spouse while he was forced to take another woman as his wife, the Young Master wanted to do something to make it up to her. 

He managed to sneak away a few foundational moves from his family's secret martial arts style and pass it on to her, so that if she was ever in a desperate situation, she could sell the moves away to make some big money.

Though his family would murder to prevent from any leakage of information regarding their martial arts from spreading, the Young Master was willing to go against his family for her. He couldn't outright marry the service girl because he didn't have enough power yet, but he could definitely protect her life. When the day he became family head came, he swore that he would send away all the other bitches and make the service girl his queen.

Until then, he could only pray that the girl would endure.
