"But why is it life and death? Why did you decide that from my previous experiences?" I asked in a shaky voice.

I slowly nod mentally. I wanted it to be spelled out to me.

'I think the reason why I have these 'Talents' is pretty obvious. Reincarnation. But the System doesn't seem to know this reason. And because I know this, I know the System isn't all knowing.' I thought.
I slowly nod gently and begin to think. 'Should I accept? It's a chance at intense arcane prowess but after that I will lose all latent skills... but what if... I can understand what happened.'
'Why I am here? And my past especially. Even a little chance would be enough for me to shoot my shot.' I thought silently.
During this period of time the Dime was watching me in a confused manner. The room seemed to be tense. Almost as if waiting for an answer. It would have seemed to crazy for him to say he could cast such a powerful spell.... but the silence seemed to make Dime doubt himself. Double and Magni where watching with quizzical looks. Double knowing the general power of my arcane skill while Magni seemed.... confused.
I took a look around the room before asking the system one more question. "What about my mana? I could barely cast a Tier 4 spell..."

I nod gently before saying to the system in a weak voice "Then I accept."

Then the pain took place. It was worse than any other pain I had suffered before. It felt like my soul was being ripped out of my body. I passed out quickly but found I didn't end up in the land of dreams but instead in a land made of darkness. And in this land of Darkness there was only pain and silence. It was... horrible.
I sat there... unfeeling yet feeling. It was cold. Yet I couldn't move. I felt like I didn't have a body to move in. It felt.... horrible. But strangely familiar. The pain was constant. And because of this whenever my thoughts started to drift they would just come back to the searing pain that seemed to be prodding into the depths of my being. And the time I felt this pain seemed to be forever.
In the eternal struggle I sat there feeling the waves of pain get worse and lessen before lessening once more and continuing to grow worse in a never ending cycle. But finally after what seemed to be forever I awoke to find light. It wasn't the light of the sun or moon but was instead the systems cold interface in the endless void.

Then after the last system notice I was awakened to the smell of smoke as well as the light of a small fire. I slowly rose, feeling strange, to the surroundings of a cozy looking large house. It was incredibly large to be able to fit my large size. I found that neither Double or Magni where there but instead there was Dime and Skip. Skip was gently sleeping on my head. While the old man was simply reading through a book on the side. I slowly moved my head over to the man. Him slowly chuckling before saying in a joyful voice "It seems you owe me one. It was a pain taking care of your degrading body while you were unconscious. It seemed that your body took quite the toll...." His voice slowly drifted off as he saw me staring at him in confusion.

"WHAT THE F*CK IS THESE COST'S AND POWERS?" I screamed in confusion.
Skip jolted up and jumped around the room in confusion and fear as he found his sleeping master was screaming in a fit of rage. The old man seemed to be very confused as well and was actually quite startled.
After a few seconds of silence Dime slowly stood up and approached me. "So how are you holding up? Your body should be fine now... but what about your mind? What ever happened to you seemed to take a huge toll on you.... I could see by the way you acted when you slept." he said in a worried voice.
I slowly nod slightly and say in a simple tone "I'm fine... It was something minor. But... How does that ward work again?"
He looks at me strangely before slowly saying "I believe it requires the presence of tier 6 magic to be in the presence of me and be used upon me. After wards it will easily break...."
I nod slowly before I gently start preparing my entire stock of magic... 'This better be worth it...' After a deep breath and around 2 minutes of silence I feel myself release a breath of energy upon him. A golden cloud rolled from my breath gently caressing him and enchanting the room. Looking like the sun gentle rays in the first light of morning. Then something truly amazing happened....
