Azalea shook her head quickly. “No, I’m good. I can always go in it some other time. Besides, I don’t need anything from there,” she said. She only wanted to look, not to buy, so she was content no matter what they did.

"Alright. So let’s go to your apartment and after that we can just go home." He collected the smaller shopping bags and put it together into the bigger one so he could carry them by one hand, while his other hand seek for hers and held it lightly.

She held his hand as they headed back to the car. It still felt so strange being with him, but it was a welcomed strange. “I’m going to assume you don’t know where my apartment is, so I can give you instructions to it,” she said.

"Ah, yea I don’t. But if you tell me the address I might know." He put the things they bought on the back seat.

"Sure," she said and then told him the address. "You probably don’t know of it, it’s not in a neighborhood you’d regularly hang out in." She climbed into the passenger side door.

"But I wander around a lot, you know. Let me see~" He looked down at the address. "Hm, I know how to get here." He put on the seat belt and started the engine.

It might be true that he knew the way, but it’s not like he’d ever come inside or even touched the building that stood right before them. He stared at it wide-eyed. She’s been living here all the time? Somehow he’s glad that he’d saved her from the ‘haunted mansion’.

Once they reached the apartment, she got out of the car and began to dig her keys out of her purse. “You can stay here if you want,” she said before closing the door and walking up to the door, unlocking it.

"No, I’ll come with you." He parked his car safely and followed her into the apartment.

"Alright. It’s not the best place, but better than nothing," she warned as she turned on the lights. The apartment was small and a bit drab, but clean. She walked into the bedroom and grabbed her suitcase, then began to pack clothes.

He looked around her apartment. His heart clenched at the sight. Living in this place and yet she had to work just to get into college. And he was going to divorce her? Nicolette was right. He was such a jerk if he does that. He looked down at his feet.

After a few minutes Azalea was finished packing. She carried the large suitcase into the living room/kitchen area. “I’m ready,” she said as she grabbed her computer and chargers, sticking them in another bag and slipping it over her shoulder.

"Make sure that you have nothing left. Because this would be the last night that you come to this place. I hope you don’t mind," He offered a hand to take some of her bags.

"I have everything I want from here," she said, smiling when he said the last part. "If I ever see this place again, then it’ll be too soon." She gave him the bigger suitcase and grabbed the smaller one.
