Sidney turned off the lights on the nightstand. He pulled the covers to their chests and cuddled her being careful not to press on her wounds. He kissed her forehead and her nose, whispering a soft good night before dozing off as well.

Azalea whispered good night as well and then fell asleep. During the night she had wrapped her legs around one of his and held him closer to her.

Sidney woke up in the afternoon at the sight of his wife. It’s the third time he woke up to her and he’s still getting used to it. It’s still weird because he was unprepared, as well as their marriage but he still liked it. She was still sound asleep so he chose to wait a little more not to wake her. He admired her facial features while caressing her hair.
