"I…thought you were one of those girls who wanted me just for my looks or money. Or the ones who has an obsessive crush on me and turned out to be unsurprisingly irritating cause they’re only after the lovey dovey moments. But you’re not. You cared for my personal matters, you’re also willing to share my burdens. You’re witty and strong and independent and those are the qualities I treasure the most from a woman." He openly confessed to her. The other woman who also cared about him like that was Nicolette, and he’d never expect that another would do the same.

"I’m glad you were proven wrong then. I’m also flattered that you think so highly of my personality. Thank you Sidney," Azalea said smiling at him sweetly.

"Of course I wouldn’t think lowly of my wife," He answered with a smirk. "By the way, we’ve been in the water too long. Let’s get out and get ourselves dried up."

"Alright," she said as she unwrapped her legs and arms from around Sidney, then swam over to the edge of the pool and pulled herself out. "I’m so happy that I can go swimming without going too far," she stated.

"You deserve all of the happiness." He smiled. He remembered that she had to struggle before so now he’ll shower her with the things she never had before. He pulled her up and carried her back to her own room.

She held onto him again. “I can walk you know,” she teased and poked his chest playfully. “Though I could get used to this.” She could get used to it, yet she still wanted to he independent.

"I know you can. But I want to do this." He put her down inside her bedroom. "Let’s get showered a bit and change. Then we should think of something else to do here, or we can just go out." He kissed her forehead deeply before going back to his room.

She smiled and laid there for a while before getting up. She showered quickly and got changed into black shorts and a plain, red, v-neck T-shirt. She walked out into the living room while pulling her hair up into a ponytail.

He sat on the couch wearing a black shirt with white button and pocket lines and a simple black jeans. “Pretty,” He complimented while looking at her. “So, should we stay here or just go out? I’d rather go out, though. The weather is nice and I know the roads where there aren’t so many people we could stop and just talk.”

"I don’t care. Going out sounds good," Azalea said as she walked over and stood in front of Sidney. "I’d just need to grab shoes, but that won’t take too long."

"Sure, me too~" He already got his pair of boots but he added a jacket and a scarf.
