Year: 3
Well, I finally managed to unlock my Kenbunshoku Haki this year. It took me a long time to do it, but I finally managed to. I can't say that it is just my hard work. The template helped tremendously. All the experience and knowledge that Mihawk had about Haki helped me reach this point. And my mental strength also helped.
I used this year mainly to begin learning. I started to read this year and my grandfather allowed me to read most of the books in the Kuchiki library. He would usually take me with him to the library and we would then choose a few books to read. He calls it preparation for my position as head of the Kuchiki clan and Shinigami but I just like to read. It is better than to sleep all the time.
I have begun to read about the history of Soul Society, the noble clans, proper decorum, past members of the Kuchiki clan, the history of the Gotei 13, Hueco Mundo, the World of the Living and finally Kido.
Kido is my new passion. In a period where I am unable to train in any shape or form and can't leave the clan compound because of my age and stature, I find Kido to be the best way to pass the time. It is not just that though. I really am fascinated by Kido. It is basically Shinigami magic and as such I believe it has nigh limitless applications.
I love to take notes about different Kido spells, analyse the changing of each spell and then come up with different types of the same Kido spell. I was trying to create a Kido in the future that allows me to increase gravity. Obviously, I have to create a gravity chamber since it is Isekai tradition. And I believe that it is possible with Kido. I didn't have access to the forbidden Kido above #89 of course and that was a bit of a problem.
I knew that the only Kido with gravity applications was Hado #90 - Kurohitsugi. Kurohitsugi seals its target in a black spiritual coffin. The practitioner generates purple/black spiritual energy, which envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity. Aizen claims that, at least with the incantation, it has the power to distort space and time.
And this makes a lot of sense. Gravity can indeed distort space-time. But I also understood that it would take me a long time to begin creating Kido. I didn't even have experience with controlling my own spirit energy. So using Kido was way out of my league ... for now.

Year: 4
Classes have begun in the Kuchiki household. Due to my 'intelligence' that has been mistaken with maturity, I am to be taught proper noble decorum and interclan relationships one year before I would have begun to learn how to read. Classes were about to start when I was 5 and now I'm already doing these stupid dress-ups and roleplay on how to act during dinner, or how to welcome someone at a celebration.
It is terribly boring and I am having trouble concentrating. Thankfully my will is very powerful so I manage to push through the lessons. When I'm free in the evening, I still try to get a good understanding of Kido and the use of spirit energy to perform these miracles. I'm getting there though. My intelligence isn't at a genius level but when combat is involved ... I'm going to truly shine.
Father is not doing well at the moment. His health is causing problems and my grandfather fears that he might have a more serious problem. Something like Ukitake Jushiro. Jushiro is absent a lot of times and can't attend Captain's meetings often, due to his illness. And if Father has something similar, then his future as a Shinigami and clan head looks bleak. My grandfather is still very concerned about the Kuchiki clan but I can feel that he has started to lose hope for my father and is rather looking forward to my future.
I don't like that, because it not only generates a rift between the family members but it is also very awkward to be in the same room as both of them. I will have to address this very soon and put my foot down. I don't care how old and 'wise' my grandfather is. My father is very important to me, even if I haven't known him for very long. I still love him. So I will not allow Grandfather to just ignore him and hurt him that way.

Well, the talk didn't go as I had planned. It was a shitshow to be exact. Grandfather didn't take any critique about his behaviour, ESPECIALLY not from a 4-year-old infant. I didn't care though. I said that my father was his son and that a harmonious atmosphere would help everyone more than if Father was excluded from his love. I have never seen my grandfather angry, but that time he was indeed angry with me and for some reason ... also with my father.
I believe he thought that it was him who told me to say those things, but I tried to tell him that that wasn't the case. He didn't believe me and began to berate my father in front of not only me but also the servants and other clan members. That made me angry. I couldn't control my anger yet, since I was still in the body of a child and so I unleashed that anger. It wasn't consciously.
Haoshoku Haki permeated the surroundings and stopped my grandfather's harsh words towards my father. Both of them looked at me with big eyes and surprise in their eyes. My brow was furrowed ... furrowed. I had never shown another expression other than the serene one that I usually wear. But now I showed that I was angry. And it seemed to surprise the two more than my Conqueror's Haki.
"Enough of this! I don't like it when you talk to Father like that. We are a family and a family holds together no matter what. If Father doesn't want to become clan head, then I'll do it for him. If he is sick then we must find a cure, it's as simple as that. But we don't fight amongst ourselves. We are members of the Kuchiki clan, and we should act like it."
That managed to solve the issue and things turned more harmonious after that. I was happy about that since it was a drag for me.

Year: 5
So I wanted to start training this year. I mean I was five years old now and since I was not only a Shinigami but also had the template of Dracule Mihawk, I felt it appropriate to begin training.
I wasn't even going at it for more than 10 minutes when my grandfather stormed into the room and forbade me from training my body. He was really angry too. I was a bit mad at first but quickly understood that he was only worried about me. He said something about stunting my growth. But I knew that couldn't be true. I already was taller than kids my age.
My appetite was ridiculously high and my height proved that. I looked like a 7 or 8-year-old right now. I will probably look fully grown at 15 or something like that. The increased height did make sense. Byakuya Kuchiki was 180 cm in the story. Flashy Flash was 170 and Mihawk was 200. So that would be about 185 if we calculate the mean value. But it doesn't just work that way.
The food here was special food compared to the one in the world of One Piece or One Punch Man. It was special in the sense that it was made for souls. Therefore it was nourishing for the soul and that changed things a bit. I was taller and still had a big appetite.

"Grandfather I want to train now. I waited for 5 years and now I wish to train. Please allow me to train."
"Byakuya, you are too young. If you begin your training now, you will stunt your future growth. I know that you are very smart and you also don't have a problem with any of the lessons but I can't allow you to train physically just yet."
"Hm."
"But I guess there is something I can do for you.", Grandfather said.
"What is that?"
"I thought about it for a while now. I saw how you study Kido and think that you should start with that. Controlling your spirit energy is the best way for you to start. If you wish, we can start with Reiryoku control and then have a look at the Kido ideas you have. What do you say?"
"Yes please!"

So after that, my grandfather taught me how to control spirit energy properly. I was very good at it because there were close similarities between Reiatsu and Haki. As time passed, I got to go through all of the templates experiences and memories. I learn a lot and gradually gain their abilities and powers the older I become.
I got the energy control down quickly and was then able to begin working on my Kido. I showed my grandfather and father some of the ideas I had. It was a fun time. My grandfather and father were both surprised at my understanding and comprehension. When I told them about the gravity field to train, they were both sceptical and also a bit clueless about how to do that.
So what happened was Grandfather approached the Kido-corps and asked whether someone could come to train me, once a week. I was happy with that arrangement because that meant that someone who was also very enthusiastic about Kido would research together with me and we could create a new Kido. I was really hoping to create that gravity field, Kido.

Year: 6
We were close, I could feel it. I told the Kido Corps Lieutenant about Einsteins' theory of relativity but he couldn't understand that. So I showed him what Einstein said about gravity and how everything moved in space-time. We were then able to slowly create a Kido that used some of these concepts.
He knew about the #90 Hado but refused to demonstrate it. I was a bit bummed out but would not give up.
Today Yoruichi came to visit me. She has started to do that more often in the last few months. I'm not sure why, but I believe it's because she likes to tease me. Although I am hard if not impossible to tease. The more power I unlock over time from both my templates, the less of a reaction she gains out of me. But that doesn't seem to stop her from trying.

"Hello Byakuya~", Yoruichi said with her usual voice that used to irk me the wrong way.
"Yoruichi what brings you here?"
"Oh? No more reactions out of you? You're 6 years old, how can you already be this stiff?"
"I am not stiff. I might not be as flexible as you, but that comes due to you being a cat monster, so it makes sense."
*Pow*
Yoruichi hit me on the head and pouted.
"Don't call a lady a monster. Didn't you learn anything during the lessons? Where is your proper noble decorum?"
"Where is yours?"
"Touché. Now come on.", she says and I feel her arm move very quickly and then she has the band for my hair in her hand.
"Come and get it!", she says and then uses Flashstep to leave very quickly. I just look in the direction she left and wait. My grandfather comes and stands next to me and also looks in the same direction.
"She will return if you don't follow her. So your plan won't work."
*Sigh*
"Very well then.", I say and begin to make my way to where she left. I can't wait to grow up to use Shunpo as well. I am already fast, way faster than a 6-year-old should be, thanks to my templates, but nowhere near fast enough to keep up with Yoruichi.
