2 A memorable 10 days.

It was early morning when I woke up. The twin's are still asleep from the jet lag and long commute in the city. I will start making breakfast for everyone after I check on my stock's. I begin to open my computer and see a message from YGGDRASIL's main forum page marked as important.

"We the developer's of YGGDRASIL are celebrating with this last post on the awesome and amazing journey we had with all of you. In 14 day's we will be turning off the servers forever. Everyone feel free to spend as much time as you want in the next 2 week's as we are lifting the 6 hour rest period for this time." The rest period was implemented for people who had been on for 10 hour's straight without getting off. It help's minimize health complication's for the most dedicated of us all.

I won't lie, after I read that, my mood soured quite a bit. I am still having a hard time coming to term's with the shutdown, I truly feel like I'm losing a piece of myself with this game. I don't plan on jumping in for the next 10 day's so I can Hang out with my friend's. However, those last 4 day's I'm not wasting a single second of it. I think it's time I start breakfast.

I start with egg's on one side and turkey bacon on the other side. I know the taste is a little suspect but it's cheaper and healthier than bacon. After cooking for about 10 minute's I hear the first footstep's of the day. Low and behold it's Josh as he is the first to come at the smell of fresh food and noise in the kitchen.

"Damn, that sure does smell good. How long you been up anyway?" Josh ask's me as he is rubbing the gunk from his eye's. I can tell that he slept like a rock with that kind of bed head.

"I've been up since 6:15. It's the time I get up to check the stock market after it's closed." I say with some pep in my voice. I am excited for the following day's with them I have a bunch of plan's all lined up. "Where is your sis? Didn't you wake her up?" I ask Josh as he start's to dig into his food.

"NO NEED!! With all that noise your making how can I sleep!" Amelia yell's from the hallway as she heads into the bathroom. I give Josh a look of worry as an unhappy Amelia means an unhappy day. He just shrugs his shoulder's as he looks at me as if expecting me to do something about it.

As Amelia get's out of the bathroom and head's for the table I give her a plate with food. "I hope you are all rested up guy's we have a big trip ahead of us. We won't be spending the trip staying here, I booked us a room in the city so we can focus on your project." I tell them slowly as to not overwhelm them this early in the morning.

I'm glad I invested my inheritance before I moved to Japan. I made some money, and turned it into a lot of money, with smart investing of course. Now I just lead a comfortable life doing as I want. I can't ask for much, if I didn't take the leap with this, then my life would not have turned out so good. I wouldn't have lived to see 25 if I didn't fight and risk for what I have now.

"You guy's should finish and be ready in about an hour. We have to head to the city and take a look at the museums and read some stuff in the library for your guy's project." I say with authority. I don't want them to fail this. Collage will really help them, they won't be as lucky as me.

We all start to get ready for the trip when Amelia ask's me what the plan will be. "So when is this trip supposed to start getting fun?" She say's with an early morning attitude. I can't blame her, jet lag is no joke.

"If we focus and do a good job in the first 6 day's we can spend the last 3 and a half having fun. But, that is all up to you guy's, you know what you need to do." I say answering Amelia's question.

When I tell them that if they do a good job then we can have 3 fun filled day's, that's when they got motivated. After everyone is done getting ready I get to the car and start it up. "I payed for a hotel for us in the city so we can just focus on getting shit done." I tell them with lot's of hope this will motivate them even more.

As we unload the stuff from the trunk for the 6 day's at the hotel, I notice that despite being apart for so long it's like I never left them. I hope they are still not mad about the way I left. If they knew how bad it was they probably would have kidnapped me to get me away from it. It was a smart move not to get them involved.

"After we get settled in we can head right to work, the sooner we finish the sooner you guy's get to enjoy Japan." I tell them as we enter the hotel room that has 3 room's and 2 bath's. Using american money for this stuff make's it so much easier.

After the Green-Hart's finish we head to the restaurant for some lunch. Josh is ordering a white meat theme'd dish and I order lobster. Amelia get's creative and order's the house special. Two baked potato's and a hamburger, as I look at it, it seems to rival food in America. After we finish we head to the library for American tourists. I can read and speak Japanese but, the twin's can't so this is the smartest Idea.

I plop down and open my laptop to search for more new's on YGGDRASIL. When I get to the forum's there seem's to be a heavy debate about the next DD-VR-MMO-RPG that come's out after YGGDRASIL. I read stuff from the beta tester's. 'The game is NOT read for launch!!! It is so full of bug's I got a migraine after playing for 30 minute's.' As I read this I chuckle to myself and post. 'Well what does everyone expect. This is what happens when you rush development and try to be better than the most popular game of the decade. Kind of stupid how they rushed this.' I post on the site.

I get a lot of up-vote's and some down vote's. I'm surprised that people even read my post. I guess when you care about something enough people can see it and relate. I keep scrolling and enjoy the rest of my time as the twin's study. By the end of it, it's already dark out and 7 hours have passed.

"How much work you guys get done?" I ask the twin's with hope. They told me that they got a lot of work done. It's thank's to the rich history of Japan. Also, a little from me but that's neither here nor there.

"It really help's that they categorized what we needed. We can finish right on track at this pace!!" Amelia says excitedly. I'm proud of them. They are doing what I didn't have the patience for. As we are heading back to the car I ask them if them want me to pick them up anything before we get home.

Only Josh replies."Can we get some Japanese candy? I've always wanted to try it." I look at Josh and give him a nod as I pick some of my favorite's from the store.

We are back at the hotel and settle in. I turn on the T.V and see only Japanese show's. No VPN here. I translate what they are saying for the Green-Hart's. As it get's later we all head for the luxurious bed's that await each of us. They earned the rest today and have another packed 5 day's ahead of us.
