11 house shopping pt. 2

"The next house is just opposite this one!" Celine said.

The walk was a short one, only a couple of minutes, with the girls taking in the lush fields and soft wind. In front of them was a small double-storey white cottage. There was a chimney on the right hand side, and a green arched door. Sophie could see peering behind the house a small lake slash pond. The trio walked up the stone pathway to the front door.

"Welcome to number 3!" Celine said, opening the door.

"This house is a bit smaller than the first one, but its got three bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms and an attic."

While the cottage was small, it was cozy and had a good atmosphere, Sophie thought. The kitchen however, like the last was too small. While it was long, it was narrow and made it even more uncomfortable. [If only the kitchen was a tiny bit bigger, it would've been perfect]. Lucy had thought the same.

"Sorry, Celine, I don't think this is right for us." Sophie said, sighing.

"Not to worry! You know what they say, three is the lucky number. The last house is in the next street, so we'll have to go on the carriage again. But I think you'll love the last house." Celine said, with a twinkle in her eye.
