2 bright changes

"Ugh...what time is it?" Sophie utters, eyes still closed.

Sophie feels a warm wind hit her face gently. [I thought I closed the windows though? It feels so good, I don't wanna get up]. The soft sounds of birds singing surround Sophie. [Wait a second, I only took a nap though? Holy shit did I actually fall asleep?]

Sophie's eyes immediately open wide, letting in a blast of blinding light.

"Oh fuck! It's so bright!"

Sophie's eyes clamp shut. She slowly opens her eyes bit by bit, eyes adjusting to the brightness. [Wow, the sky is so pretty~it's so blue, and the clouds look so fluffy I wanna bite it and wait a second, I'm outside?]

Sophie's mind was on alert. She lifted her body up into a sitting position.

"What the fuck, wait, where the fuck am I?!"

She rubbed her eyes to make sure what she was seeing was real. Sophie was sitting on soft grass, surrounded by little field flowers. There was a stream not too far off, and many willow trees waving against the warm wind. In the distance was a group of houses and rolling hills. The colours were so vivid and vibrant, Sophie's eyes watered.

"Holy shit am I dreaming? This looks way too real and good for my eyes, and I need glasses to see!" Sophie exclaimed.

[Okay, this looks too good to be real. Hell, it looks like I'm in Howl's Moving Castle! Or a studio ghibli movie? Shit...did I die? Wait, I have to test this out].

Sophie pinched herself.

"Ow."

And again, but harder this time.

"OW! Okay, okay so I'm not dreaming. Wait maybe I am, but this dream is hyper-realistic?"

Sophie took a few breaths. She looked down at the seemingly soft grass, slowly touching it, cautious. It was just as soft as she imagined it to be. [Fwuahhh~ it's so fluffy and soft. I can touch it all day!]. Her gaze then turned to her hand. It looked exactly the same as her normal hand. Her tan skin sparkled in the sunlight. Sophie moved to her face, touching it slowly. It felt the same, so maybe she was okay?

"It seems that my body is the same or at least my skin tone anyways."

[My clothes!] She looked down again. Her "home clothes" had seemed to disappear. Instead, she was wearing a moss green dress with white lace that came just above her knees. There were ruffle layers of ivory underneath and her sleeves poofed into balloons. There were buttons lined to her waist and her shoes were brown boots that came half-way her lower leg. In the corner of her eyes, she saw a bulging brown leather bag. She was about to grab the bag before she heard a loud yawn.

Sophie snapped her head backwards so quick she thought she cracked her neck by accident. Gently massaging her neck, she saw a sleepy girl behind her. [So I'm not alone? I've got to be careful though, since its a stranger, but most possibly she's my close friend considering we were next to each other?] The female stranger was wearing a dress similar to hers but in yellow mustard, with a v-neck and shorter puffy sleeves that cut below the shoulder. Like an awkward deer, she slowly crept up to the female stranger trying her hardest not to wake her up. The stranger's head suddenly turned to face Sophie.

"Lucy!?"
