Chapter 1: Before Life

We all have different birth places, mine was on the planet earth on a town called euphoria. Now this town was the only place I have ever been but it was a beautiful one. It was small, not so busy, quiet but not to much, and lots of interesting people.

I'm a 14 year old girl named Naomi, to describe myself I have dark skin, I wear glasses, I have curly medium length brown hair, however I'm not the tallest person. My whole life everyone were all regular humans with regular lives. The only out of the original thing was that new family would come.

My parents were definitely the best people in my life, my mom always had my back through thick and thin. She taught me how to cook, clean, do my hair, while my dad showed me traits of survival like the right natural resources to use for everything essential. To be fair I'll include my older brother as well, he always knew how to make me happy or get me out of bad moods. (W brother)

The school I went too which is called Euphoria high school, not so great. Let's just say The people there always knew what hurt you the most, but not everyone there was a buss kill you where lucky if you found the right people. I'm one of those lucky ones. I made 2 friends there, little did I know there is a reason I had a liking to them. Anyways one friend I made was named Lucas, messy dark hair, light skin, brown eyes, and a baggy type of clothing style. Astra she however was kinda like me, dark skin, brown hair, brown eyes, preppy type style (not like me), and was tall unlike me. Me and her were inseparable and did everything together, she was like my long lost sister. my first sleepover was at her house and I'll never forget that day.

Astra and Lucas where the best friends I ever could ask for, they helped me no matter what. One time this boy I kinda sorta liked, well news flash he rejected me. I mean I should have known I usually am able to see these things from a mile away but this time my brain couldn't comprehend.

That day I never cried so much in my life, I mean crying over a boy?!? Really?! I never thought I would be someone to do that and I hate that I did but my friends were there to comfort me.

I will forever be grateful to them for what they did. I mean that's what I get for being love blind. I told myself that I won't fall in love again after that, my friends couldn't convince me either so I plan to keep that promise.

In time though I was able to repay the favor, both of them wanted to go to a popular party a few blocks down, the problem there was that their parents told them no. That's where I helped I made it look like they were sleeping while putting a snoring sound on and snuck them in the party. Doing so they had to leave early but they said they still had a good time and that's all that matters to me.

Life was getting better over time, like new people started coming to the town and we had more events, more places to go and more restaurants. Euphoria just kept growing and growing and it turned into a whole city, but I found a place where I can have my peace. This place grew and grew until it was getting hard to keep people from crimes, then things started to change.
