CALESIE'S NEW BEGINNING

CALESIE'S POINT OF VIEW ( POV )

"Is your stuff complete now Calesie? " Mom asked, we are here in my room packing my things up, This is the day that I will leave the Town,

"Don't worry mom I checked everything and I have a list, all of my important stuff is already here in the bag and I didn't forget anything, I promise," I said

"Calesie the bus is here!!!" Aldrin shouted outside, I think he's also ready.....

"Mom the bus is here I have to go now, "

"Calesie"

"Yes, Mom?"

"Listen to me okay? if you ever find something out on the City please know that all of my actions were because I love you, and because I wanted to protect you okay?" Mom said and then hugged me, what does she mean about that?

"Calesie! We have to go, the bus is going to leave us behind!!" Aldrin shouted again, Mom let go of the hug while she is still holding my hand,

"YES!YES! I AM COMING! Why are you in such a hurry," I said and then looked at my mom with a smile

My mom and I went outside while I am carrying huge luggage, Aldrin was waiting for me at the bus's door and he also carries big luggage with him

"Hurry the bus driver is angry," He said but I know that he is just making fun of me

Aldrin helped me with the luggage because it is quite heavy and our sit is behind the bus,

"Calesie?" Mom called me while I am helping Aldrin carry my luggage to enter inside the bus,

"Yes, Mom?"

"You are going to be alright, Right?" I can see in my mom's eyes that she is worried about me

"Don't worry Mom, I am your daughter and I took after you right? I am strong and I can take any challenge in life so don't worry about me I am more worried about you Mom?"

"Me? why?"

"Because this is the first time that we are going to be separated and I don't want you to be lonely,"

"Calesie, like you said, you took after me meaning I am also strong and I can also take any challenge in life so don't worry about me, go on now I am setting you free now Calesie and I hope you can find happiness there and I am wishing you good luck on pursuing your dream of becoming a professional composer," Mom said which made me cry, I hugged mom and she hugs me back

"I am going to miss you, mom, Don't worry about me I am going to always text you and also call you, I love you mom," I said with teary eyes and shaking voice

"I love you too Calesie forever," Mom slightly whispered and I can feel her hugged being tightened,

after seconds of being so dramatic mom let go of the hug and then she wiped my tears staining my face, She then also wiped her tears away while we are laughing because we are so dramatic, It's not like we will never see each other again,

I went inside the bus Because I feel like the bus driver is getting bored, the bus driver started the bus and as the bus was driving away I looked outside the clear window of the bus and saw my mom just standing outside while waving her left hand at me and so I waved back,

"Bye Mom, I love you" I shouted

"Bye Calesie, I love you too...Always," even though I am far away from her, Mom will be inside my heart, Cheering me up

We left our village at 3 Am so I think that we will arrive at the university by 8 Am... I hope so, I don't want to be late... from what I know, The class started back on July 6, 2020, but since I enrolled or more like took the test for the scholarship late, Aldrin and I will go to our first class late,

"Calesie!! Are you sure about this?" Aldrin asked me, I looked at Aldrin and I can see that like my mom Aldrin is also worried about me and I can understand them because they know what I have been through with unfamiliar people, What they did to me, and how they ruined my life just because I have this unique hair and eye, I don't know yet If I am ready but I wanted to become a composer and I don't want that bad experience to be the reason why I can't achieve my dream, I have trust issues, But I want to put that behind me

"You know Aldrin since I was little I dreamed of becoming a composer and I dreamed of becoming like HIM so my answer is Yes I am sure and I think I am ready, I can't hide from people just because something happened to me in the past, I want to face my fear,"

"Well then if you say so Calesie, don't worry Cal I will protect you, I promise,"

"Protect me? Really? I can handle myself you know Al I am a grown-up now and much stronger than before when we were just kids"

But I am thankful to Aldrin because he stood up for me even though, He is related to that one person who made me feel how scary people are.....

After Hours of riding the bus, Aldrin and I fell asleep because of the long ride,

*HOURS LATER*

"Aldrin we are here!" I said waking Aldrin,

We finally arrived at the City, The City that I have been dreaming to go to,

I hurriedly ran towards the bus' exit and saw a beautiful and big city, I took a deep breath and smiled excitedly, they have many buildings, Many grocery Stores, a Noisy Atmosphere, and the most important of all is I am going to have a New Beginning here...

"Calesie your luggage!" Aldrin said while struggling to carry all our luggage,

"Woops, Sorry,"

I helped Aldrin carry the luggage and then we waited for a new bus for us to ride to go to the university,

We manage to ride a bus but we are standing because there are a lot of people but even if that's the case I am so excited because I can finally go to the MS UNIVERSITY

We finally arrived at the university and now I felt like I am still dreaming because I can't believe that the University that I accidentally watched on the television is now in front of me

"Calesie the guard said that we have to go to the registrar's office so that we can officially transfer to the school," Aldrin said still struggling from carrying his luggage

Aldrin and I entered the university and then we searched for the registrar's office, I am so amazed at the school's monument because it's so tall and he is the founder of the school, The university was so big that if you are unfamiliar with the place you could get lost, I think...

That's the case for us two because we are lost

"Are you sure this is the way, Al?" I asked, Why did I even trust Aldrin leading the way, if you guys don't know, he has a bad sense when it comes to directions, trust me you don't want to get lost with him because he will tell you that he knows the way while clearly, he doesn't

"I am sure because the guard said to go to the yellow building," He said, I sighed and tried to be calm,

"But Al, all of the building is color Yellow," I said, Why am I stuck with him? Please help me

"Then we can just search the registrar's office at all of the 5 buildings, " He said but I know he was joking

this could take forever, Finding the registrar's office is hard when we are lost,

I am behind Aldrin and he is in front of me of course since he is leading the right way? More like the opposite way, We were walking in the hallway when a person that's in a uniform passed by us, I grabbed the opportunity to ask her about where can we find the registrar's office,

"Excuse me, Ma'am, can I ask a question?" I asked it looks like she's a teacher here but she's young, She has a unique uniform,

"What is it, Miss?" She asked while looking at me smiling,

"Can I ask you about Where can we find the registrar's office? We seem to be a little bit lost" I asked while slightly looking at Aldrin,

"Well if it's the registrar's office, Miss, you are in luck because I was going there not until you stopped me, " She answered while still smiling,

"Can we go with you, You see, We are new here so we can't tell which is the right and wrong way"

"Yes of course, just follow me," She said, and then she leads the way

We followed her quietly while she was in front of us, There's a lot of people in the hallway, and as we passed by they look like they were shocked about something and they kept staring at us and I felt like they were all staring at

Me?

I am starting to feel embarrassed now, Wait, There uniforms look exactly like her uniform, Is she not a teacher?

After a couple of minutes of walking in the hallway, we finally stopped in front of a room that says Registrar's department

"So, this is the place," She said then she opened the door, She entered inside the room and I saw that she was talking to someone, They look so close

From the outside I can feel the cold from the inside of the room because of the air condition, we also entered inside and as we enter a middle-aged woman in a glasses smiled at us, Well She looks nice...

"Good Morning, My name is Fiona Anderson but you can call me Mrs. Fiona and I am the head here in the registrar's office so, Are you, two new students?" She asked

"Yes" We both answered

"What's your name?"

"My name is Aldrin Lacrost "

"How about you Miss?" She asked me, I don't know if it's because of the air conditioner so I'm cold or if it's because I am too nervous

"Miss?"

"Calesie " I answered but she was looking at me with her left eyebrow raised

"Surname?"

"Rae Ma'am, My name is Calesie Rae," I answered, I am too nervous to think straight right now and it's so embarrassing, Mrs. Fiona then type our name to her computer, it looks like she was searching our name

"Oh...so you both won the scholarships lucky for you, " She said smiling at us then she continued typing

"So first, you both have to get dressed, the class originally starts at 7 Am but since you both are new you can attend the class this afternoon from 12:00 Pm to 3:00 Pm Your uniforms are not ready yet but I think your uniform should arrive tomorrow before your first class, Your apartment Miss Rae is on the building 2 the building 2 is the girls building and your apartment Mr. Lacrost is located at building 1, the building 1 is the boys building, Here is the key to your new apartments and lucky for you Miss Rae your roommate is also new because she also got the scholarship from us she is already on your new apartment and she arrived yesterday, Here are your schedules for your classes, Good luck and I hope you enjoy being one of the student here at MS University" She explained while smiling at us both and giving us the keys and schedule for our class

Aldrin and I exited the registrar's department room and we did as we are told to do, We separated because our apartment is not in the same building but he said to see him at the monument of the university so that we can go to class later together,

good start, So far so good here, No bullies or anything,

I arrived at the building 2 and I searched for my apartment, It says to the key that the number of my apartment is 50 so I have to go to a room that says 50 on the door, After minutes of searching I finally found my apartment and I am so nervous because on the other side of the door my roommate is unfamiliar to me and I don't know if she'll like me or not but I hope she does and I hope she is willing to become my friend

I knocked on the door even though I am unlocking the door with the key given to me, I nervously opened the door after it was unlocked

"Hello?" I called

"OH, MY GOOOOSH!!! MY NEW ROOMMATE!!", she shouted looking so excited as she approaches me and shakes my hand,

"Hi," I said shyly to her

"Hello, My name is Hailey Smith, I am also new here I got transferred here yesterday so I have attended the class and It was fun I hope we are in the same class and I hope we can be the best of the best friends here so, What's your name?" She sure is jolly and I am starting to like her because she is giving me the energetic and positive vibe

"My name is Calesie Rae,"

"So what is your class?"

"Uhhhh...I don't know yet because I didn't see my schedule yet"

"Come inside, Let me help you with that," Hailey offered and then helped me carry my luggage inside, She's nice

I put my luggage on the other side of the bed I opened the luggage so that I can finally put my things in place in the apartment but there are three beds the other bed is for Hailey the other bed is for me then why are there three?

"Uhh...Hailey, why are there three beds? Is someone still coming?" I asked while I am putting my stuff in the places where I like them to be while Hailey helped me she sure is so friendly

"Mrs. Fiona said that it's for someone new but that student is not sure if she will transfer here to the university so she is not here yet, I heard she's younger than us" She explained,

Minutes of organizing my stuff I finally am finished, why did I carry so many things, I sat on the bed because I was so tired and so is Hailey because she helped me I know she is tired too so she also sat on her bed, Hailey's bed is just on the side of mine,

"Thanks for the help Hailey,"

"No biggy, So Calesie what's your class? You should check the schedule"

Right I still don't know my class, I grabbed the schedule that Mrs. Fiona gave me an hour ago and then read it, Hailey sit next to me and she also read my schedule

"OH, MY GOSH!! CALESIE YOUR CLASS IS THE SAME AS MINE MEANING WE ARE ON THE SAME CLASS!!" she said so excitedly

"Really?!!"

"But why are you not in the class ?"

"Well I kind of heard that you are arriving at the school so I skipped the class today because I am so excited to see you," She said shyly

"Awww... that is so sweet Hailey," I said appreciating her effort skipping her class, That's bad but I appreciate it

"Lucky for us we are in the same class, so we can go to the class later at noon together but do you have your uniform?" She asked

"I don't, the uniform is going to arrive tomorrow so I am not going to wear the uniform today, do you have your uniform? "

"Well yeah, it's in my closet want to see our uniform?"

"Yes!" I said excitedly, Who wouldn't be if you know that you are going to wear that on your dream university for a year then, of course, I will be excited to see it

Hailey went to her closet so I followed her, she opened the closet to show it to me while the uniform is being changed I looked at the uniform while being so amazed because of how beautiful it is,

The blouse is white but the coat is pink, it has a two pocket on both side of the coat and it has the logo of the MS University on the left side of the coat the blouse has a removable necktie that shaped like a diamond and it's long and has also the logo in the center the skirt is not that short but not long either and the color of the skirt is pink and the design of the skirt has red stripes,

"The shoes have to be black and the socks are white doesn't matter if the sock is long or short but I would prefer to wear long because it looks good on the uniform," Hailey explained

"It's beautiful,"

"Yeah it's beautiful but you know what's more beautiful?" Hailey asked so I looked at her

"What?"

"The school dummy, MS UNIVERSITY, I now know why the students at my former school we're so jealous of me being accepted here because the school is amazing, You know I can show you around here but only to the place that I know because the school is so big we could get lost, "

"Yeah I know right, I was lost an hour ago because of someone's fault,"

"Who is that someone?" She asked

"Just my childhood friend from our village, He got accepted here too just like us,"

"ooohhhh... Hey, it still early want me to show you around while there's still time before school? there's a lot of handsome men here"

" Well sure but I don't like to be around with people," I said

"Why?" She asked

"Well.....Because I have some bad experience with them" I said and then touched my pink hair

"Don't worry I am going to protect you and if someone messes with you they will mess with me because we are friends now, Right?"

"Thanks, Hailey, "

Hailey and I left our apartment

I am scared of people, Why? it's because of HER, It's because of her jealousy and her obsession with the color of my hair and eyes that she wanted to kill me when I was just 14, ever since then I got scared, I got scared of people and I got scared of talking to someone that I don't know and I got scared of trusting someone easily, I don't want that bad past to repeat, I don't know where she is now but I hope I will never see her again, She is the last person that I would want to see in my entire life.

"Calesie! Look!!" Hailey shouted as we approach the university's garden, It's so beautiful and it looked so magical, It has so many different colors and sets of flowers,

I went near the garden following Hailey around because she was also amused by the garden's beauty, I stopped and looked at the flowers and there's only one flower who caught my attention, The flower is like dying, I went near the flower lean towards it and then touched it gently, It's red and it has yellow pollen grains,

"It's a Red Camellia," The voice behind me said, It's a man's voice

"You know you shouldn't touch that and you should be in your class", he continued

I stood up and turned around with my head bowed that's why all I can see is he's shoes

"What's your name?" He asked

"Calesie Rae"

"I am going to give you a chance so that you can go to your class but that doesn't mean that I am not going to list you on the students who skipped their classes and then later after your class come and see me on the dean's office, "

What? The dean's office?

Because I was afraid that he will write my name I snatched his pen to prevent him from writing on the paper that he is holding,

"I didn't skip classes, It's my first....."

We were both shocked not because I snatched his pen but because we cannot believe to see each other again.....

"YOU" We both shockingly said while pointing at each other, I can't believe that I will see him again.....
