9 Chapter 9

Anthony's POV

"please don't kill me I'm sorry, IM SORRY" his screams were silenced by the Snapping sound of his neck. he would have been dead much earlier if Kazzy hadn't begged me not to, but this was the last straw. no one touches my mate and gets away with it.

at least now it was assured that the child in her belly was mine it was like I told her the child may not be my blood but I will raise it like my own.

it's been a few days since I had seen her and I was beginning to crave her. Her touch, her lips, her body, her entirely, But there was still things I had to do especially to keep her safe.

"Alpha" I was brought out of my thoughts by my beta "Yes" I replied "rouges were spotted outside the borders" he said "I've already sent out a few guards incase they decide to attack but currently they seem to be waiting for something" he said.

I nodded when suddenly the most magnificent Smell of vanilla hit my nose. my mate was home, I wanted to go search for her but I had a feeling she was mad at me for not seeing her the past few days.

I heard her go up stairs and come back down a few minutes later. I got up from my seat and walked out of my office. I stopped when I saw melody enter the kitchen.

"well look what we have here a whore that plans to use our Alpha as a baby daddy when he isn't even the father" the melody said and my blood began to boil.

"Melody how could you say that" I heard Jackie say "I was only saying the truth jackie you know it to" Melody replied "we don't want a whore as our luna" my blood began to boil again I was about to move when I heard an unfamiliar voice, it was Kazzy's.

"It takes one to know one" she said in her frog like tone. she just got her voice back and I had already fallen in love with it. I thought but I was brought back to reality buy a very annoying voice. "excuse me" Melody said "what did you just say" she continued "I'm sorry are you deaf do I have to use sign language for you to understand" Kazzy replied. I didn't know she knew sign language I'm so happy I'm learning new things about her.

I was brought out of my thoughts again by a small bang. turns out melody fell on the floor I could smell her anger from it.

I didn't hear anything from then on untill I heard Jackie laugh. "nice one" she said then began laughing again "never thought I'd see you do something like that" she continued.

the next thing I know I see them walking out of the kitchen with sandwiches and walking towards the dinning room. Kazzy looked at me but continued walking she was definitely mad.

Kasmine's POV

Oh I wasn't just mad I was pissed my mate avoided me for almost a week I have a good reason to be mad. I looked at him and saw the guilt in his eyes, he looked like a sad puppy who had lost its owner but oh well I wasn't giving in till he apologized.

"you know you've been here such a short time and you've already changed so much" Jackie said as we sat down. "how do you mean" I linked her. "well when you first got here you were any and scared but it's almost been 2 weeks and you seem happy and out going nothing like before" she replied she was right I hadn't even realized I'd gotten so comfortable is it a good thing.

"I've decided since your happy now tomorrow you will meet my friends" she said and I could help but laugh. I was strange but I was slowly getting used to it "actually she's meeting my family tomorrow" I turned around to see Anthony, I hadn't even sensed him.

"oh" Jackie said with a sad look "maybe another day jackie" I replied through our link. the next thing I know I'm in anthony's arms and he's walking away. "hey I'm not done with that yet" I said trying to squirm out of his arms.

"you are now" he replied "put me down" i said as he started for the stairs. I was able to see jackie lean her head on her hands and her say "Ah young love" before we got to the room and he closed the door.

he tossed me on the bed and I stared up glaring at him "I'm sorry ok" he said and my eyes went wide. "I should've been here but..." "stop" I interrupted through our link "it's not that you should've been here it's that you needed to be here you already agreed to be this baby's father no matter what, and I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm going to all these appointments with jackie instead of my mate. not only is my voice box healing but I'm growing a baby inside of me what do you expect me to..." I was caught off by Anthony placing his lips on mine.

I closed my eyes enjoying the kiss I've waited almost a week to have again "ALPHA" Dylan, Anthony's delta busted through the door which broke our kiss. Anthony pinched the bridge of his nose "Always interrupted" he said "What is it" he said again looking up at his delta.

"Alpha Ryan is heading this way for his yearly mate check" he said quickly and I could hear Anthony clench his teeth. Alpha Ryan was the second Strongest Alpha in the country. comparable to Anthony who held the too spot. Every year he went to several different packs looking for his mate, my old one being one of them. this was part of the treaty so that he didn't start an unnecessary war.

"When will he be here?" Anthony asked " 3 days they are coming in wolf form" Dylan said and Anthony nodded "prepare the guest room" Anthony said then walked out of the room and Dylan followed. 'great alone once again' I thought to myself.
