8 Chapter 8

"ok say hello" Dr. Richards said standing in front of me "hello" I said my voice sounding less like frog from the last time I tried to speak. it's been 3 weeks since my surgery and I had already began my vocal therapy. Dr. Richards says my voice box is healing nicely and as for talking I'm doing well.

I'm personally not really used to talking but one day I might be "Ok now do a sentence" he said "this is getting boring Dr. Richards" I said with a smile and he glared at me in return. "Very funny" he replied.

"anyway your coming on a lot better then I had hoped so I want you to start talking for at least 2 hours a day or sing anything that gets your voice box used to making noise again" he said and I nodded "got it" I replied.

I walked out of his office and met Jackie in the waiting room "finally ready to go baby shopping" she said jumping out of her seat. "I still don't understand why we have to do this now we still have like 8 months till the baby comes" I said rolling my eyes "because it's good to be prepared now come on" she said pulling me out to her car.

Anthony Obviously wasn't happy that I was pregnant I mean, I wasn't at first either. but when he said that he would raise it as his own it made me beyond happy. after I was healed from my surgery Anthony had left for a few days. I'm pretty sure he went to kill Walter that scumbag, but he would never admit it, at least not to me.

Jackie and I arrived at the store and we went straight to the back of it where it had the baby stuff. we had already planned to get gender neutral stuff since it was still way to early to know the gender.

as we continued to look and grab stuff we liked I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a tall and very beautiful Women who looked to be in her 50's. "hi I'm Rosa Anthony's Mother your Kazzy right" she said and I nodded. she looked almost exactly like Anthony other then her Bright Blue eyes every thing was the same His hair, skin, nose, I was in aw.

"Anthony had told us what happened, I just wanted you to know that the child in your womb will be apart of this family blood or not" she said. My eyes began to tear up, Not only did Anthony accept the baby but his mother to. "oh dear please don't cry" she said hugging me "you know I was actually here to buy baby stuff for you, why don't we shop together and get to know each other more" she continued.

"I would like that" I said in a croaky voice. "Alright ladies let's go shopping then" jackie said popping up in between us.

we continued looking for baby clothes and other things. eventually we made it back to the pack house and Rosa called out a few omegas to get the stuff inside.

"Alright ladies I should be going I'll leave you two to set everything up now" she said kissing me and on the cheek and walking away.

we got to the room that would be the nursery and placed the stuff we bought in the room, then we walked back down to the kitchen to get some food.

I sat at the table as jackie threw something together. I was never good at cooking. the air suddenly became tense I felt like someone was staring at me with the intent to kill. I turned around to see a tall, blonde girl with blue eyes glaring at me.

there was a smile on her face but not the nice kind the kind that's evil I knew that smile better then anyone because I saw it a lot.

"well look what we have here a whore that plans to use our Alpha as a baby daddy when he isn't even the father" the blonde girl said with an evil tone. Jackie stopped what she was doing and turned around eyes wide.

"Melody how could you say that" jackie said "I was only saying the truth jackie you know it to" she then turned to me "we don't want a whore as our luna" she said turning to face me.

I got up out of my seat and walked over to her inches away from her face "It takes one to know one" I said in my frog like tone her jaw dropped "excuse me" she said "what did you just say" she continued "I'm sorry are you deaf do I have to use sign language for you to understand" I replied.

she clenched her teeth in anger and went to punch me I ducked and kneed her in the crotch. she fell to the ground in pain, on may not seem like it but trust me it hurts like hell I know from personal experience.

I knelt down to her level as she stared at me with hatred and disgust. I touched her arm so I could link her and so no one would hear what I was about to say.

"I don't care who you think you are or what looks you decide to give me. I've been given way worse from others and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let another person off easy especially for calling me a whore don't mess with me bitch" I linked her and stood up dusting myself off.

Jackie looked at me in amazement then walked over to me handing me a sandwich "nice one" she said then began laughing "never thought I'd see you do something like that" she continued.

"Come on let's go eat in the dining room" I linked her and we walked out of the kitchen.

Melody's POV

Damn it how could a whore be so arrogant. I swear I'll kill that bitch, I will never let her be with my Alpha never he's mine no one can have him but me. I'm his mate me not that whore. I will kill her I promise she will die if it's the last thing I'll do.
