6 Chapter 6

Kasmine's POV

It's been about a week since I came to Anthony's pack, and I'm still not used to it. the bruises slowly began to heal but the once open wounds became scars that would never disappear.

I got up out of bed and looked at the clock it was already 9:45, I kept Telling Anthony to wake me up when he got up but he never listened. him being my mate was another thing growing on me, every time I was near him I felt at peace and I was happy he is truly good or at least he is when I'm around.

I got up off the bed and grabbed some clothes and a towel out of the closet. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water for the shower. I started to take my clothes off putting them into the hamper and I got into the shower.

the water was worm to the touch, I relaxed me the moment it hit my skin. after a few minutes of just standing under the running water I finally started to wash up. after about an hour I turned off the water and got out wrapping the towel around my body.

I got ready for the day ahead brushing and drying my hair, brushing my teeth and putting on my clothes. I walked out of the bathroom and down stairs into the kitchen. as soon as I stepped into the door way I was caught by different smells all at the same time. my stomach turned and I immediately ran for the trash can and began to throw up.

"What's wrong Amare?" Linda asked. Linda is the Lead Omega of the pack she is mostly in charge of anything that involves a kitchen or house work but she doesn't mind for some weird reason. "I-I'm not sure I was fine till I came here then my stomach turned" I linked looking up at her.

"I'll go get the Alpha" she said In a rush before I could link her she was already gone and back along with Anthony "hey what's wrong" Anthony said bending down to my level "it's nothing I'm fine" I linked him. he sighed "Jackie is taking you to Dr. Richards" he said "But I'm fine" I tried to protest "even if your fine you still have to have treatment for your vocal cords" he said implying I had no choice.

Jackie suddenly came into the kitchen "c'mon we're gonna be late" she said dragging me to my feet and pulling me out of the kitchen.

Anthony's POV

I could tell Kazzy was becoming more comfortable around me and I couldn't help but be happy. when I told her Jackie was taking her to Dr. Richards she began to pout I'm happy she is warming up to the pack eso after all she went through. Which brings me to another point, no matter how long I delay she'll eventually find out the truth about me. about how I do business, and I don't want that.

Kasmine's POV

Jackie was a very energetic person she had the ability to make everyone happy. it was like she was the only Star lighting up the sky and there were no others like her.

By now we had gotten to my appointment and were already in the examination room waiting for Dr. Richards. "So, you think you'll be able to talk soon" Jackie asked "I don't know" I replied truthfully "I've gotten pretty used to this whole linking other wolves thing" I continued "I bet your voice will be beautiful" she said solemnly.

"Hey what's wrong" I linked her "nothing I just wish you could talk" she replied. "one day" I linked her with a smile Suddenly the door slammed open scaring both of us.

"I can fix your voice box" he said out of the blue "really" Jackie said standing up. she seemed more excited then me. "I opened my link to both of them so they both could here me.

"You know we were just talking about that right" I said through the link. "Doesn't matter. do you want to be cured of your paralysis" he said putting his hands on my shoulders.

I stared at him shocked for a moment. I never actually thought I'd be able to talk and now there's a chance. "do it" a voice suddenly popping into my head said "who are you" I asked and no one replied. I shook it off and nodded my head "yes I want to be cured" I said through the link.

jackie and I walked into the house and almost immediately I was in the air spinning "is it true jackie" Anthony said putting me down "yup she already sighed the papers. Her surgery is Next Monday" she said leaning against the door frame.

"so fast?" he questioned "Dr. Richards wanted to get it done as soon as possible I guess the longer I'm like this the more chance of it being permanent is" I linked him he had a huge smile on his face but I swear it got bigger.

the next thing I know Anthony and I were kissing. we were just talking how did this happen. I didn't resist it but accepted it. I mean I knew he and I were growing closer but I didn't think we grew this close.

I didn't want to release from the kiss, it felt so natural all I felt were the sparks that made me want him even more. but I was still afraid, I was afraid I would be forced but at the same time I knew I wouldn't be.

after a minute that felt like forever and the fact that neither of us had breathed. we released from the kiss, lust for each other lingering after he came back to his senses he took a step back "I'm sorry" he said "don't be" I linked him "um guys I'm still here" Jackie said from behind me.

"ok I hate to Break you to up but you and I have some things to talk about" jackie said grabbing my arm and pulling me up stairs.

"I have to ask you something" she said once we got to her room "what is it" I asked her through the link. "why do you have the signs of a cursed wolf if your wolf is white "she asked.

in werewolf culture Red Hair and gold eyes were the sign of misfortune and the white wolf was a sign from Selene the Moon Goddess that she is watching and protecting us. it said with my gold eyes and red hair I will bring misfortune to the pack I'm in. but once they see my wolf everyone becomes confused.

"I'm not sure it confuses me to" I replied through the link "now about what we discussed earlier" I linked her trying to change the subject.
