14 Chapter 14

6 Months have passed since the war happened. the level of casualties was high for the pack soldiers but low for civilians which was good.

things have been strangely peaceful it makes me wish that this peace would last forever, but I'm not naive enough to know that it will.

As for Jackie's funeral I think she would have liked it we all told stories about how great a person she was and everyone laughed here and there, I know she wouldn't have wanted us to be sad.

as for the baby it's growing bigger by the day with how much it kicks we know it's nice and healthy. Anthony and I also decided to wait and see what the gender was we even made a bet, now all that's left is to wait and see the baby should be out anytime now.

"Kazzy what do you think of Emmaline if it's a girl?" Anthony asked he really wants it to be a girl while I want a boy "and if it's a boy?" I asked "um edward" he said I couldn't help but chuckle.

"And what about number 2" I asked, "jessica and or Anthony jr." he said with a serious tone. oh yeah I may have forgotten to mention we were having twins. of course we didn't find out till recently, apparently baby number 2 was hiding.

"I want their names to be unique" I said leaning my head on his shoulder "hm then may we can ask my family for suggestions" he said leaning his head on mine.

we sat there in silence for a few minutes just enjoying each others company "Anthony" I said after about 10 minutes "hm" he replied how long will this last?" I asked looking up at him, he slipped his had under my chin and tilted my head up to look in eyes "as long as we can make it last" he said.

"now let's go get you ready for tonight you'll be meeting a lot of alphas and their luna's" he continued and I nodded slowly getting up from the couch we were on.

I slowly walked to and up the stairs to our room and Anthony helped me to change into a comfortable dress and put a little make up on after I was done I sat down on the bed so he could quickly get ready.

once he was done he helped me off the bed and helped me down the stairs into the car we drove to the pack house and he parked the car that helped me out of it and helped me carefully walk to the ballroom with the pack house or our pack along with multiple other alphas, Luna's, and their families waited for us.

"Ah Alpha Williams what a pleasure to see you and your lovely mate on this fine evening" The alpha of the pine wood pack greeted "Same to you Alpha Andrews I'm glad you were able to come" Anthony replied "oh and as you already know this is my luna Kasmine" Anthony Continued.

"It's nice to meet you Alpha Andrews" I said with a smile "Same to you luna, I see you to already have a pup on the way" Andrew said "Yes" Anthony replied "if you'll excuse us we have to greet many more wolves he said.

as time went by we eventually greeted everyone Anthony left me alone with the other lunas to talk to the other Alphas.

"It looks like your due Luna Kasmine" Luna Ginger said kindly "Please just call me Kazzy Luna Ginger" I said "of course Kazzy and please just call me Ginger" she replied "ok and to answer your statement you are correct they are due anytime, I'm honestly pretty nervous" I said a little embarrassed.

"I'm sure you'll be fine mother" Ginger said "all of us lunas have heard what you've been through with your old pack and we are all glad you're out of that horrible environment your babies will have perfect parents" she continued.

"I hope so" I replied.

ANTHONY'S POV

"I'm sure you can't wait to be a father" Alpha Derek said with a big smile on his face "I remember I was extremely nervous" another Alpha said.

"I assure you I am nervous I didn't think this day would come so quickly" I replied "Ahem is it true that your mate was impregnated by another wolf are you infertile or something" Alpha Johnson said with a smirk on his face and I glared at him "in the end Johnson those children are mine blood or not" I said walking over to him and getting in his face.

calling an alpha infertile is like challenging a king for his throne it will start a war and every Alpha new it "I suggest you watch your words next time Johnson or else you'll end up just like Ryan" I said and he immediately backed off.

"OH MY" we heard a woman yelling looked over "ALPHA ANTHONY LUNA KASMINE'S WATER BROKE" a woman that was next to Kazzy yelled "WHAT" I yelled and ran over

"Ahhhhhhhh" Kazzy screamed in pain "WE NEED TO GET HER TO A HOSPITAL" Derek yelled "NO there's no time, we have to get her to a bed and call for the pack doctor" Dereks luna, Ginger said.

we helped Kazzy get to a bed and lay her down to make sure she was comfortable "okay someone called The pack Doctor I don't know how long it'll take for them to get here but they should be here soon" my cousin Diana said running into the room "how is she" she asked "the baby is already beginning to crown" Ginger said.

"okay I know we should probably wait for the doctor but I think this baby is coming with or without him" Kazzy said angry "okay when I count to three push" Ginger said "1....2.....3....." she counted.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Kazzy yelled as she began to push "ok one more push" ginger said "Ahhhhh" Kazzy yelled instead of screamed this time.

finally really filled her face as the baby came out Ginger grabbed the towel that was left on the side of the bed and wiped the baby off and wrapped it "Congratulations Alpha and luna It's a handsome little boy" she said as she handed him to me.

a second later the Dr Richards came in and ran over to me and the baby "I'm sorry I'm late to see I already missed first from being born" he said with a smile on his face "let me examine Kazzy any other child quickly and and the lovely nurse here will take care of him.

he ran over to Kazzy I started feeling her stomach "oh my" he said "what what's wrong"I said shocked "anyone with medical experience stay everyone else get me alcohol knives and Anthony go out to the car and get my other medical back" he said "why what's wrong?" I asked "from what I can feel the baby is upside down not exactly sure when this happened but I'm going to need to do a C-section the stuff I'm going to need is in my other bag" he replied
